> 3 dayWhen I opened the box, my wife asked, are they going to hold up to the weight of our island? I said, of course! I had no idea lol. rated for 100lbs so 4 should take care of it. (crossed fingers and fastened them). They didnt even seem to be stressed and our island rolls so easily! Definitely worth it if you need a low profile caster!

> 3 dayPretty sturdy little casters. I ended up purchasing different machine screws with bolts to make them more heavy-duty. One of the locks appears to not lock, or maybe I’m not able to press it down hard enough, because I can’t really get to it at a good angel now that’s it’s on the bottom of my island. When I installed these, I placed the plates a couple of inches from the edge. This is something to consider if your piece of furniture is heavy, as it’s a pain to lift my island to find the lock. I should have installed in closer to the edge, but alas, it’s not that big of a deal, more of a minor annoyance. My island is going to be stationary 98% of the time. I also didn’t remember that only two out of the 5 are locking, something else to consider when installing. It happened that I installed both on the same side, so one side of the island can glide away from the wall. Pay attention to placement when you are installing.

> 3 dayI like these and would recommend. The top plate of these is a little smaller that the width of a 2X4; which is what I had to mount to my project to get them to fit. They look well-constructed and probably have about 20 ball bearings in the swivel part. Also, on the axles, it looks like they have dust covers protecting the innards of the wheels. It did make it a little difficult to get some silicon spray in there to lube them. But they swivel and roll very easily. The only negative I have is the wheel locks are difficult to unlock unless you have a stiff toe on your shoe and catch the top part just right. So, you may have to bend down to unlock.

> 3 dayUp front, this is the second time Ive bought these wheels. I recommend them. Theyre sturdy and smooth. The wheel-locks work great and seem to have just the right amount of tension in the release mechanism. (I buy a lot of casters for different things I make, and some other brands will either un-brake on their own or the brake will be so difficult to disengage that you risk flipping the furniture over.) My only concern is the quality control in the hardware. The casters come with some very robust screws, which I like, but three (3) out of the thirty-two (32) screws Ive received across two purchases didnt have the drive cut into the head. The holes in the caster bracket are pretty big, so when one of the screws that comes with the casters isnt viable it can be difficult for me to find a replacement that doesnt just slip through. That said, the overall quality at this price point makes the risk of a couple of dud screws worth it.
