Firstly, its advertised that the mop heads can be thrown through the wash- unfortunately you cannot. I found the descriptions wording to be extremely misleading about that. I go thru mops (& mop systems) like nobodys business with a lot of frequent and heavy use, and I spend unbelievable amounts of time (re)searching for very specific needs- and machine washable is 1 of the main 3. I think I had the mop parts in hand not even a minute before confirming that contradiction on the packaging. And yeah, theyre replaceable, plus it comes with a spare, but the handle at the base of the mop (which screws on/off the pole) is made of a fairly thick plastic that would destroy a washer, if not make a hell of a racket. And I imagine the yarn would knot on itself and bind up so it isnt even tempting to attempt. Of course, you can hand wash and air dry them... But you can & should do that with all your mops anyway, so it makes the removable head basically a moot point.

I had a national brand mop that was similar to this with a different mop head and I have to say this is superior. I use this mainly in the kitchen because I have an older dog who is sometimes having issues with urinating in the kitchen area. This makes for a quick and easy clean up. this little mop works great and holds up, I have purchased this mop several times in the past ( years ago) and they are still going strong, I bought more as Im using them in different areas..easy to use and I thought the ratchet action that wrings them out wouldnt last long..I was wrong, I have twisted the mechanism quite tight and it hasnt broken yet...cleaning is easy just hold under a tub spout or sink and after a few squeezings they are pretty much clean...I washed an entire 2nd floor hard wood floor using a bucket and this mop does well and doesnt leave any streaking...I bought extra mop heads but havent needed them yet, i guess it depends on how dirty the floor is and with what...dont hesitate to buy one...and as final disclaimer..I do not represent the company or get any free merchandise in exchange for a good review.....

The first mop head I used fell apart. Some of the string ripped from the base and was just dragging along the floor. It made it impossible to wring it out properly and I had a heck of a time figuring out how to remove the head (that wasn’t in the instructions anywhere so I had to turn to YouTube.) The second head is holding up wonderfully. Maybe just a bad one?

I love the single ratchet design, but the mop handle that is screwed together snapped off at the top connector, the plastic screw cracked. We currently use it anyway, but it hurts our back because its now much too short. The mopeds are great. Love that they are machine washable. Its necessary with what we use them for!

Me agrada lo aparentemente fácil (para mí) de unir los tubos y enganchar la mecha para usarlo, solo que últimamente en mis 3 últimas entregas mensuales,los tubos los he recibido defectuosos y he intentado alternarlos para ver si mejora pero sin éxito, por favor verifiquen que los tubos del mapo se puedan unir y desunir sin tanta fuerza porque al escurrir la mecha no siempre se puede escurrir bien porque los tubos se ruedan y no escurre nada.

Easy to assemble. I like the lock in handle which makes it easy to twist,especially for someone with rheumatoid arthritis. The last brand I used was hard to wring.

My husband likes this mop. Its too hard for me to push down to rinse. The mop heads go right in the washer/dryer for easy cleaning.
