We recently purchased these so we could process a couple of roosters we had. They weighed 16.6 pounds but the freezer weight was around 13 pounds. These bags barely fit our roosters in them. But, we made it happen. Bags are super sturdy & strong. For smaller poultry, I would recommend these bags.

Had to do some adjustments on temp until it seemed 200 degrees worked best and using a wooden spoon to hold it submerged for about 10 seconds.

So we struggled through the first few bags trying to fit our birds in them. The birds might have been too big. On average they were 7 pounds. I came back here to buy more and the price has gone up ten bucks!!! That’s insane!

I don’t write to many reviews but these are amazing! Super easy to use the instructions are perfectly written and easy to figure out! We loved using them and will definitely purchase again next time we need them!

We process about 30 chickens at a time. No bags have failed during the shrink wrapping phase or in storage. Very easy to use at a good price.
