I applied the largest size rectangle to the inside of my Otterbox commuter series case (moto g). It stuck well to the mount in my initial test. The case fits just the same as normal with the metal affixed--its just stiffer in that area It would probably adhere even better to the car mount if the metal touched directly without the 2mm gap, but I wanted it to be invisible. I also liked the number the set comes with. You get the four rectangles, but can also combine some circles together to use on other phones. The design on them is also nice in case you wanted to apply a metal portion to a craft project or surface you wanted to use magnets on.

It only took a long time to get them

These have good suction power but the adhesive is weak. The magnet separated from my phone half of the time when connecting it to my car’s magnet mount. Its a shame— they have a cool look. I gave the extras away to friends who thought they had a cool look.
