I think this is one of the best mounts for sell at this time, I install TVs for a living, and this one ranks at the top of my list. Best thing about this mount, Is that it is heavy and well made, also it comes already put together, all you have to do is 1= Mount the vertical brackets to the back of your TV 2= Mount the TV mount to the wall. 3= Then hang the TV on the TV wall mount, 4= there are two U brackets that screw to the brackets that attached to your TV these will keep the TV from coming loose from the TV wall mount. One thing that i really like about this mount is that it has two swing arms, this will let you push the TV straight back against the wall. Make sure that you look at the back of your TV and check that this mount will not block the inputs or power on the back of the TV. Some reviewers have given this mount a low rating because it blocks the inputs on the back of their TV. As someone who installs TVs for a living, I blame the TV manufactures for deciding to put the inputs and power in line with the mounting hole on the back of the TV. With all the space on the back of a TV, why put the inputs and power connections there? why not put them off to one side like a lot of them do, well out of the way of the mounting holes. The attached pictures are the mount installed above a brick fire place, the TV is a 65 inch curved TV.

Overall, I am very pleased with the product and extremely pleased with their support. They took something that is rather complex and made it DIY. These mounts have to accommodate different TVs and wall positions. I purchased the 2298 model because it has the maximum flexibility as my wall outlet and stud positioning are not ideal. This mount was able to compensate horizontally and vertically by about 4 inches which made it perfect. Likely the most confusing part is picking the right spacers to go with the TV bracket screws and this required me to contact their support team as Samsung is not very clear in their manual, in my book. Their Mounting Dream support team was very patient and responsive with me and you can tell they know their stuff. The arms are a bit stiff and I will hit it with some WD40 (recommenced by their support team and manual) as this bracket is by no means flimsy. Net-net: I like this system, and their support, so much that I just ordered another one for the living room. Now I need to figure out which TV to buy for that room LOL.

This was a very complete and solid TV mounting kit. It comes with everything you need including a wall template, level, mounting screws of numerous sizes. I needed a larger bracket because our house is framed with 24 in on center studs and this fit the bill. Instructions and template were easy to follow. I also was able to place a box in the wall behind the mount large enough to accommodate a UPS, though the mount sits flush so I couldnt fit the frame or face plate on the wall box. We mounted a Samsung Series 7 70 inch TV. All the screws we needed were provided and with a partner its an easy install and connection of the TV. Everything is tight and solid and moves nicely without rocking or tilting. Very happy with the purchase. Already have two more to mount in other locations in the near future.

Thats what you need to have to be able to maneuver your TV mounted with this thing. Its like the bolts are really tight preventing it from moving it back and forth easily. The only way to move the TV back and forth is by pushing and pulling the TV itself (obviously) but Im not comfortable doing that with the amount of force it takes. Tilting it isnt nearly as bad, but I only had to do that once. I mounted my Samsung 65 inch for reference. I gave it 3 stars because overall its a decent mount and I feel its doing the job of keeping it on the wall. I would not buy this again, however.

Really needed a hole right in the middle of the mount. My handyman drilled a hole thru the mount in the middle to get it in the stud. I have a 75 tv, and 75 of space between two windows, so it had to be perfect. If he didnt drill a hole in the middle, it would have been off by an inch. Considering the space, it would have been really noticeable. Once it was attached, my guy did a couple of pull-ups on it. Its not going anywhere, and holds my tv perfect!

Update 4/30/21. Original purchase 2/19/19. I needed new parts to accommodate a new TV using the same mount. But I didnt keep the extra parts that came with the mount, so, I called Dream Mount for help. They are sending me what I need (screws and spacers) free of charge. Now THATS service. From opening the package to finished install, this piece of equipment was truly a Dream to work with. Very high-quality piece of gear. Very easy to install and it feels solid as a rock after installation. I had to build a frame structure in an opening for a recessed TV. That was the hard part. Once the studs were in place, the rest was very easy after I figured out how high to drill the holes in the studs to get the new 55 Samsung mounted at the right height on the studs. The mount comes with a tiny level for the template and a 6-inch level for checking your work as you go. It also comes with many TV mounting components of different sizes so you can mount any TV. Well packaged and marked. The user manual was also well done and easy to follow. I put the back brackets on the TV using one long spacer for each top hole and one medium spacer for each bottom hole to account for the curve of the rear of the TV. I used the longer, thicker bolts. I then drilled 4 holes with a 7/32 drill bit, two in each stud where indicated by the template. I could not use the little level for the template because with open studs, the template didnt lay completely flat. But I used a 2.5 level of my own to check the levelness of the template on the studs and knew how high to drill the holes by measuring from the bottom of the TV to the bottom mounting bar for the mount. It was a little difficult to put the first bolt into the studs because I had to hold the 22+ lb. mount in one hand while getting the bolt started with the other hand. Im 72 and not as strong as I used to be. But once I got one bolt in, the rest was easy, using a ratchet to drive the bolts. I had to get help lifting the TV onto the mount. It was just too big and bulky to do myself. But once hung on the mount bars, it was simple to put the hold clamps on the bottom of each side and then adjust the TV for leveling, which in my case, I just used the TV frame and pushed it until it was level. It stayed there and is very solid. I also pulled the TV out to the maximum extension of the mount and turned it so I could see the TV from another room, the kitchen. Very cool to be able to do that, so I can watch TV now while I cook. When I was done checking that, I just pushed the TV back into place, very easily, for watching in the family room. I love this mount. It is very well made and solid. I will be needing another one for our master bedroom soon and I will absolutely buy another one of the exact same model for that job, which will be a flush mount on our bedroom wall near one corner high on the wall. More complicated job because Ill have to install an electrical and cable outlet up behind the TV so no wires are hanging out. But I know this mount will be perfect for the job.

This is the second time that I bought this mount. I stored one that I purchases a year a ago and purchased this one recently. there are subtle changes to this model. Not has high quailty. No wire clips to help manage your wires. The lever to adjust tilt is not spring loaded. The caps on the end of the mounting bar are now plastic rather than steel. Action doesnt seem as smooth. Definitely not an upgrade at a higher price. Overall good mount just a few steps down than previous model looses a few stars for that.

I used this to mount a Samsung 58” TV. The TV feels very secure, I have not once been worried it would fall. The installation process was a bit more than I expected but it was doable. However, be prepared as the mount itself is rather heavy. My wife and I tried to install at first but we ended up waiting until I could get my dad to come help so we could have two people hold the mount while another tightened the bolts. The provided spacers were not right for the TV I had but I was able to use a few washers and the Samsung provided spacers instead. On an ongoing basis I would say the mount itself has held up well, however, moving the mount in and out from the wall can be a little tough as it has a lot of resistance. Otherwise, the quantity of the build is great, it looks nice when the TV is out and you can see behind. The included level is garbage but the cords organizers are a life saver, way better than my normal go to zip ties as you can undo and redo as many times as you want (cable management is an art not a science!). I ended up putting a media box behind the tv and it fit perfectly in the cutout of the mount without comprising any if the integrity and everything is hidden from view. I would definitely buy again.

Even came with a level. Man and that make all the difference. Had up in minutes.
