Beautiful gift. The globe moves gradually with ambient light. It’s important to make sure it is placed correctly, but beautiful piece of art and gift.

I found this in a thrift shop yesterday and bought it on the spot. Even though it is second hand, it looks brand new, the trapezoid type solid crystal base is real not acrylic. I put it in a display cabinet on the top shelf under a 25-watt tubular bulb and I leave the light on 24/7 and the globe revolves absolutely perfectly and its just a dynamite find. Absolutely love it. You will, too!

I absolutely love this globe. I bought it with the prism stand for .50 cents at a yard sale! It sits on my end table in the living room and everyone comments how cool it is!

Although the seller is very nice and helpful, these things just arent worth what you pay for them. They pretty much have to be in direct sunlight to work properly. So if you dont have a window where the sun in beaming in directly where you want to place the globe, I wouldnt get it.
