18-04-2025The brightness could be a little better but it gets the b done. It is surprisingly light weight. My complaint like so many others is that the button is hard to find in the dark.

17-04-2025Terrific hiking/camping light. Well constructed. Great idea for portable solar lighting. Family loved these as gifts for future trips.

> 3 dayNeat idea but quality of product is not that great. Left it out to charge after the second use but it wasnt able to handle the sun - completely collapsed on itself and melted. very disappointed.

> 3 dayLike the light weight, craftsmanship, collapsible, solar rechargeable, long battery life. Not the brightest light, but that is not the principle purpose--really seems best suited as a extremely light weight, backpacking light for inside tent, but best as an emergency source of light- tested it out real life when lost power for several days during west coast wildfires of October 2019-worked like a charm! Has several light intensity settings. Suspect that if kept stored where there is some outside light source such as window sill, these lights will always have a full or near full charge. I have bought a small mountain of out of doors gear in the last 40 years and this is one slickest little devices I have ever run across.

> 3 dayBeing inflatable, light is super lightweight and portable. Charged in shorter time than expected and held charge for more than adequate time. Plenty of light, even on lowest brightness. Will be used for camping and will probably purchase more.

> 3 dayThis thing is awesome I plan on buying a second one. It charges pretty quickly and my battery hasn’t run out on me in the few mo the I’ve had it. It’s very bright and very convenient to use by the fire or hang inside the tent or light up an area at night.

Greater than one weekUPDATE 10/15/22: reached out to the company and they were pretty quick to replace it. Easy to work with. My new one came direct from the company so I can be assured it’s not counterfeit and already seems much brighter than my previous one ever was. I haven’t had a chance to take it out camping or charge it yet (it came fully charged, unlike the one I got on Amazon which arrived low on battery and never charged), but I have a feeling this one will work out alright. I’m not sure if mine is defective but I spent so long trying to get it working it is now past the return window. First time I took it out backpacking I charged it a few days prior to leaving and then had it in an outer mesh pocket on my backpack for the 8 hour hike. Got to camp and the light turned on for maybe 30 minutes before going completely dead. I worried it may have turned on in the pocket so I continued to charge it at camp the next few days but was never able to get any power out of it. The next time I took it out to the desert I had it on top of my car collecting sunlight as I traveled. It never worked. I thought maybe the dust affected it? Who knows. Got home and have had the lantern charging in my backyard for 2 weeks in perfect conditions. The light still will not turn on and the battery charge meter reads zero, it does not have enough power to display the battery charge meter. I almost wonder if I got a non-functional counterfeit. The description on the mpowerd website is different than on Amazon, mine did not come with a usb charger to charge the battery otherwise I would have done that. Seems like a great feature to have if the solar panel is not reliable. I have written to the manufacturer for a warranty claim as I’m now outside my return window on this useless product which never worked. Hoping to have better luck next time because the form factor and weight is really good, but if you can’t get any light from it the product is just non-recyclable plastic trash.
