well, if you really like the smell of strong basil this is for you. for me, this is tooo strong.

Awesome smell. Wonderful soap. I gave this away to my girlfriends for Christmas in my My Favorite things box. Its great and the price is hard to beat.

I was introduced to this Mrs. Meyers clean day hand soap, Basil and it works great and i just cant get enough of this soap, for it also works good as a body soap once in awhile.

We really love this soap around our house. Use it all the time and consistently refill our bottles. The smell is very refreshing and unique. Perhaps a little unintuitive at first to consider -- but very very nice. This company sells refill bags that work well with the plastic bottles.

Aroma too strong for me. Otherwise, I do like the feel of the product. And it seems to clean well leaving no residue on the hands.

I absolutely love fresh basil. I love the way it tastes and I love the way it smells. On food. On me, I wasnt so sure. But having the utmost respect for every other flavor that Mrs Meyers produces, I decided to try it on faith. Boy, am I glad I did. The smell is a very green, clean, warm smell. I may not have thought basil at first, but you can smell more in basil growing wild in an earthy, rich garden - the smell of the flowers that grow at the top of the plant, combined with the beautiful ground it grows in. Wow, I love it. Certainly, as with everything Mrs. Meyers does, it works well. Like the other scents, it is very strong in the bottle, becoming less sharp and more rich when mixed with water. There is no chemical/perfume smell - only the clean smell lingers on your hands and reminds you to wash again. A+

I really, REALLY like Mrs. Meyers basil hand soap. I love the price point and ingredients. I like the (semi-masculine/unisex) scent and packaging a lot. Its not overly drying and very much appropriate any place in the home. This is one of my top 5 hand soaps!

I love this soap! Works great, smells great, and easy on the skin. I would buy it again and it saved me some money over the brick and mortar stores in town.
