MSI Gaming GeForce GTX 1660 Super 192-bit HDMI/DP 6GB GDRR6 HDCP Support DirectX 12 Dual Fan VR Ready OC Graphics Card (GTX 1660 Super Gaming X)

I bought this back in June 2020 (for $220) when I was upgrading my aging PC. I was just curious to see what the price is at now and I cant believe its in the $700 range. The hardwares Ive pair this with are B450 Tomahawk Max II, Ryzen 7 3700X, and Samsung M.2 SSD w/ operating system. The latest game Im playing is Battlefield 2042 on High preset settings. Besides from the game needing a few extra seconds to load the textures at the beginning of each round, it runs very smooth.

My wife bought this for me to complete a new computer system I built. It is an amazing graphics card, super quiet and very efficient. The images for graphics is superb. It has 6 Gig or DDR 6 Ram and it beats most of the similar models. During the summer I will try to play a demanding game to see how it does. So far, I am very impressed. I used not to care much for the RGB lights, but from time to time I found myself playing with the different settings just for fun! I have a case with a tempered glass on the side and it just looks awesome. I like that you can turn the lights of as well as it would keep me up at nights. It works awesome with my Z390 motherboard.

Still a great card in 2021 playing most games at 1080 or 1440p at 60fps or higher.

I will say I’m not a computer guy and don’t know much about gpus but let me tell you it dose everything I need it to do !

I upgraded from an RX 580 to this, and to say the least, the improvement is phenomenal. I can run GTAV on High & Ultra settings with a stable, good FPS. The same goes for literally every game I own. In the past I had an older Nvidia card (Cant remember the name) and the UI with it was abysmal, which was something that put me off Nvidia cards, but the UI now is intuitive & on-par if not better than the AMD UI in regards to everything. Havent had this card get remotely hot either, even with prolonged play. The one notable downside is that it has 1 HDMI port and 3 PCI Express ports, rather than 2 of each, meaning in order to have my two monitors working I had to buy an adapter. Theyre cheap though, and its not a big deal. 5 stars

The card is almost 3 years old and it had 0 problems, for this product at last the silicon lottery didnt let me down or MSI is using good quality product on the card idk.

runs greats low temps and can still play modern games only on medium graphics.

This Graphics card is easy to install and downloading/installing the drivers, utilities and software for it was a breeze. This isnt a super high end gaming card but if you are not a serious, hard core, gamer, this is the card for you. The prices are above suggested retail right now so thats why the low value score BUT that should ease up as the pandemic weakens and the supply chain gets stronger. For what I do with 4K content editing and production this card works quite well as a replacement for my old card that was at the edge of not being quite enough card for all that. I have a Tri-monitor setup so the 3 Display Ports work perfectly to run those and that left the HDMI port open to run my 4K UHD projector. Even with all of these running at once, this card doesnt skip a beat BUT the variable speed cooling fans do ramp up when running all that at once! That is a nice feature of this card, when not needed and the card is at a low graphic processing load, the fans slow down so much you cant even hear them, not that they are very loud at full load/speed to begin with!
