> 3 dayUsed to bird-proof a gas grill with several openings in the back and below. Once the birds found this home, they were unrelenting nest builders inside the grill. Sheet stainless would have been expensive and hard to cut, form, and drill in this application. I was able to cut this mesh with tin snips and diagonal pliers and formed by hand over a 2x4 (wearing leather gloves). The welded wire intersections generally took considerable abuse without failing. Im sure Ill find other projects for whats left over.

> 3 dayI built a new bird house for our parakeets. Most of the mesh screen material available at local hardware stores is zinc coated. Birds like to chew and bite on the screen material, and zinc is toxic to them, so the best solution is to us stainless steel. This stainless mesh is 1/2” squares and works perfectly for this application. If your into bird houses, I highly recommend this product.

> 3 dayWe purchased this product from this seller before to make a parrot-safe bird cage, and had no qualms the first time. We purchased again* ~1 year later, and there has been a drastic decline in quality. This is advertised as bird-safe, and it is NOT. Every other joint seems to have a nasty barb and/or excess solder attached that we can’t simply sand off - we’ve tried wire brushes, files, torches, sanding sponges, etc. to reduce the amount, but it has hardly made a difference. We’re looking at hundreds of hours of picking to get them off of the cage - they are sharp enough to tear our skin (as seen in a photo) so they’ll be too sharp for birds. We will likely need to spent another several hundred dollars to replace the wire and hopefully salvage the rest of the materials and start from scratch. If you are trying to build a bird-safe aviary, I do NOT recommend this product. *initially purchased from another account

> 3 dayAfter looking at a bunch of options typically plastic, I figured Id try this. Wow, simple to set up, sturdy, easy to break down, and works great. Look at the temp, almost 160F! I just opened it up to pull it off the pile, redid the two ties holding it together and refilled it to get some mixing and aeration. Just took 15 minutes. The only issue is the ends are sharp. I filed them a bit, but they can still catch your clothes or scratch if youre not careful. Still, I see this lasting a long time. If it starts to rust or break down, Ill revise the review, but I have to think stainless steel will hold up pretty well.

> 3 dayThis looks well made and very sturdy. Im building squirrel boxes with floor grooves routed into the insides for the mesh wire, and wanted something that wouldnt fall out. This stuff will do the trick.

> 3 dayI made a bird cage with the wire and it’s so study. It’s able to hold up all the toys, food/water bowls and everything I wanted. It’s a better product then I ever expected. Very happy with my purchase and I will be buying more for 2 more bird cages thats in the making.
