My 5 year old and 2 year old love this cat/dog puzzle (obviously my 2 year old needs a lot more help). But it’s been a great addition and I love that it’s double sided and easy to tell if you are using the correct side.

I love that these have two sides, which is something I haven’t seen before. My kids are 3 and 5. My youngest is a puzzle master and loves these. The 5 year old is a master painter but finds these puzzles pretty difficult still. So take that in mind for skill level.

We love this puzzle! The pieces are fairly strong and it is easy to tell which side you need because of the bright background colors. Visually its a very appealing puzzle and its interesting enough to keep it fun for me as an adult, but not too hard for my three year old.

It would be fun for a younger child. Large pieces and not very challenging.

A wonderful high quality double puzzle. But it really needs some identification of the birds and bugs! We also have Mudpuppys Woodland Forest puzzle in which the accompanying sheet gives the names for all the animals (ie. Cecropia Moth). That would have been helpful with this one too since Im not quite up on my bug names and the children want to know what they are!

My granddaughter is 7 and loves animals. She really loves this puzzle. We work on it together.

This puzzle was gifted to my 4 yo while he was in quarantine for over a month. He is a kid who loves puzzles and animals and has a lot of stamina for doing things over and over again. He has done this puzzle likely hundreds of times by now. He does one side then breaks it apart and does the other side. . . . again and again and again. He times himself doing it. He does just the middle pieces with no edges. He does just the edges with no middle pieces. Sometimes he takes an animal to start with and then gives me an animal to start with and we have to race to see who can get the most pieces connected to their starting animal before our pieces need to be connected. Sometimes he sorts all the pieces by animal before starting and sometimes he sorts them all by puzzle shape. Who knew there were so many ways to use a puzzle. Considering the use this puzzle has seen, it has held up remarkably well. I did have to glue one of the heads of a puzzle piece that ripped off and there are a couple pieces where the picture is starting to separate from the cardboard. Ive seen other puzzles hold up a lot worse with a lot less use, so wouldnt dock any stars for that. I bought a different version of the Mudpuppy Two-In-One puzzle for him for Christmas - more for me than for him as I have also probably done this puzzle with him over a hundred times myself and would like some new scenery. I find doing this puzzle to be actually pretty enjoyable - its easy enough to not be frustrating or feel like work, but challenging enough and big enough that it isnt completely mindless for an adult to do either.

This is my first experience with the Mudpuppy brand. I will definitely purchase another. It is a great puzzle and I love the 2 sided feature....a real 2 for 1 special!

Was quick work for mu sister and me to put together. In the end, instead of taking it apart and putting together the other side, she just flipped it over to see the other puzzle completed. :P Still pretty and worthwhile. I will get one with MORE pieces next time!
