Use fast charging cable to get the best result

I bought this because it offers a lot of USB charge ports -- even two advanced type of charge ports. The power cable supplied uses auto power. Its good for what it is, but it could be a lot better. The set comes with a mounting bracket but to make best use of it, we would also need a way of getting power to the device. But the power cable is rather short. Ideally there should be a fuse tap kit included so that the power could be adapted from the cars power and a longer cable run to carefully conceal the cable. I will be first to agree that such a kit is for more advanced installers and not for the casual user. But neither is the supplied mounting bracket. A qualified installer should also be used to mount the bracket. But the supplied adapter should be good enough for most casual users. I just wish there was also a cable which would be long enough to mount the power supply anywhere in the car.

We got this to occupy our teenager in the back seat. She kept using all of the USB plugs in the front. The cord on this unit is long enough to place the unit between the seat and console in the back. She has easy access to charge all of her electronics. It makes trips bearable for everyone.
