Nintendo should have shipped this length cable with their controllers when they sold the N64. The only thing I would want from this is some kind of mechanism that would snap the controllers plug to the plug on this one.

Perfect! My couch is just a little too far away, but with these extentions we can all play sitting comfortably.

Broke both cables first time they were unplugged! Poorly made

3 of the 4 I received work perfectly. These are exactly what you need for gaming from the couch. Just be prepared to send one or two back for replacement.

I was skeptical about the N64 cables on Amazon because I was seeing in the reviews that lots of cables either didnt work, had ports that didnt stay connected, had too tight of ports that destroyed customers N64 terminals, sync issues, or all of the above. Let me put all of your worries to rest and say these cables had none of those issues. I also like the way the cables fit into the terminals; they are tight but not so tight that I cant remove them. I do wish they were maybe a litttttle bit more snug when connecting the cord to the controller port, but it definitely does not feel like it will come loose so no worries. Otherwise, I really have no complaints about these cables. I just hope they last for a long time.

I had to use a file to file down some plastic because excessive force was required to plug into the console. That helped, but its very noticeably different than Nintendo-branded plugs. They do work, however.

These extenders work pretty well but they come loose at the joining point quickly. Its not as snug as it is when it connects to the console so any movements near the joining portion gets it closer to disconnecting. But Ive never had it disconnect during a game of MarioKart!
