We bought a new home last summer, which had the original numbers on it. Then the doorbell ringing started, constantly. It turned out our neighbor orders food delivery all the time. Their address ends in one, and ours in seven. The 7 on our house was chintzy, plastic, and could easily look like a 1. So we didnt blame the delivery people, but we were tired of being disturbed by strangers thrusting food at us. So I came to Amazon and looked for a seven than looks like a seven, even from a distance. This was it: bold, well made, with that extra hook and curve that only a seven has. They didnt skimp on materials. It was easy to attach to the wood by our front door, and is attractive. I didnt have problems with the screws, and they havent rusted, even in the rainy PNW. Better still, nobody has come to our door by mistake. We are loving the peace and quiet! So I just started with the seven and left the other, smaller, numbers, just because I wanted it to scream to the delivery folks for a while. But it looks a little weird and now Im ordering the rest. ~Shay

I bought four of these numbers, 4889, And I love them! Extremely sturdy, with great design. Rustic hammered look is extremely well done. Each number comes with three screws even though you only need two. The screws do not work well with hardy plank siding but that is beside the point. I would highly recommend. they are gorgeous and very well seen from the road.

No ones favorite number is 4. Neither is mine but it happens to be one of my house numbers. I thought, what a nice looking 4,I think Ill buy it. I was right. Worth every penny.

Love the numbers - ordered six of them (different numbers) - heavy duty, super cool texture. The screws included for installation, however, were terrible. Good thing there were three with each number. Installing six numbers, we had 18 screws; we used all of them. The heads were just breaking off, super cheap. But the numbers are awesome!
