I bought this for my Panasonic shaver. I used to use National (Panasonic in Japan) bland one which is made from paraffin which had no smell. However this one has oily smell like sawing machine oil. It does work as far as blades running smoothly over your face but is not very pleasant when I shave and smell the oil.

I use this lubricating oil on my electric beard trimmer and electric shaver. This is the best oil I have ever used. It is very light oil, but does a good job of lubricating. It is not messy to apply. Good value for the price.
