Works great on my radio! Much better than the long antenna and I haven’t had any problems with service.

Great antenna for members of the blue fam. Low profile on an outer carrier vest if thats where you have your radio. Solid construction, official Motorola, item, works with APX6000 w/o any issues. Have noticed the occasional case of bad reception, which is common and expected with a stubby radio antenna (longer antennas give gain, this obviously does not provide that and is to cut down on profile/size of the stock antenna).

Works just like the normal long antenna for my APX8000. Looks better since its shorter and doesnt get caught up on my gear. Its worth it for now, but Im hearing if they switch to digital, this antenna will not work. I will have to wait and see if and when that happens.

Works just as well as the antenna provided with the radio and doesnt poke me in the armpit all shift.

Ive been using this for a few weeks now and havent had any issues. The short length is great if youre mounting your radio on a duty vest. Its also more comfortable if on your belt because it stays out of the way nicely. Radio transmissions are just as clear and crisp as the full size antenna and I havent had any transmiting issues. As for durability I cant say a whole lot since Ive only had it for a short time, but I dont have any doubts that its just as durable as the original full size antenna.
