This is my go-to mini switch. It just keeps going. Uplink works. Never have any problems with it.

When I purchased my house, all of the phone lines were run with Cat-5. Since my family uses all cell phones, we do not need a land line so I decided to connect the computers in my house via wired connection. I bought this switch and stuck it in the small plastic enclosure on the side of my house that holds the cable companys splitters and whatnot. I live in Texas and the heat is typically well over 100 degrees in the Summer. This little switch has lasted 2 summers with the heat and is still going strong. I am really shocked that it lasted as long as it did and have bought several more to put around the house. They are really simple! You just plug it in and let it do all its ARP-y magic. Highly recommended!

I have never had a better hub. It is blazing fast. The only problem is that there is a barely audible annoying hum emitting from it.

Works as advertised. Would recommend if you need a switch to expand your home ethernet network. I havent seen too much of a drop in speeds either. Would/Will buy again.

As with all ethernet switches it should be pretty straight foward to plug in and connected. This is the second one Ive used. The first one has been up and running on my work network 24/7 for over 2 years with no issues. This one I hooked up on my home network, and worked as expected found connections and I was up and runnning as fast as I could hook up the cables!

I bought this switch for sharing network for roommates with poor wifi signals. After using it, we found it works surprising well, and only costs you 30 bucks. Moreover, it is very to set this up in my linux desktop PC and my Macbook. Strongly recommends it to people have such need!

This is a solid switch which is what I expect from Netgear.

For me this was very simple to install and set up. Basically just plug it in and plug in the Ethernet cables and it worked. There was no software that had to be installed and so it was about as simple as it gets for me at least.

I have never had problems with Netgear switches .. ever!
