My son is 5 and had health issues this game keeps his mind off of it. We got a used one with one of the three saved games already finished, which was a blessing because my son likes playing all different worlds and I dont have help him as much. It is worth the money!! We have a Dsi and a ds and he loves playing two player with everyone in the family. He makes them play. It just seems it used up a lot of battery he does not play a whole lot but when he get treatments we have to charge it that night.

So, this is the first Mario game Ive played since Super Mario Bros. 3 for NES. Yes, yes, I know, Im old. Ive just recently (in the past year) gotten back into the video game scene and have to do some catching up. Needless to say, when I got my DS a couple weeks back, I had to get Mario. Ive been playing this for a couple days, have made it to the third world and have lost a lot of lives getting there. Its ok though. It is a very enjoyable game so Ill deal with taking 2 days to get through a world. Its as addictive as every other Mario game Ive played.

Ive been playing Super Mario ever since I could hold a controller in my hands and I have loved it ever since. This game as a brand-new story features a classic cast of some of the worlds most recognizable video game faces. The levels are fun and not too difficult. Great for casual gamers, but can get a little boring for hard-core gamers. I would recommend this to anybody whos looking for a fun time.

A very fun game. My grandchildren ejoy it immensely. My granddaughter is 7 and my grandson is 5 and they plays it every chance they gets they will play their other video games but you can tell that this is by far their favorite. Its fun to play and keeps the interest of children and adults. Very glad I purchased it. I would recommend this highly a little expensive but well worth it. This is a definite must have for all video game player.

I will admit that I was a little reluctant at first but after trying this game out I can tell you that this game is really a sucsess, but then again, who was expecting it not to be? Almost every game that comes out of nintedo has a quality about it that blows away other handheld gaming platforms. I know what you are thinking, hes just another nintendo fanboy, but this is not the case. This game is amazingly well put together and i would recommend it to anyone with a ds and $20 extra lying around the house...

I purchased two nintendo hand held games, so my husband and I can play without having to share a game. Yesterday,I took the games to our sons so the grandchildren and I could play. They captured the games, keeping for a week. Not only are the children having fun but, our son was enjoying when I left for home. I feel it was a good choice. I enjoyed the original nintendo but, did not want to tie up our t.v.

Like all these over priced cartridges my kids love them for a month or so and then grow tired of it. I did ask my kids what they thought of the game before writing this review (6 and 9). They simply gave me the standard answer, Its OK, its fun. However, I can tell my 9 year old daughter has outgrown the meager value and simplistic nature of the DS. Sorry for the poor product review, but the majority of these Mario games all look about the same considering the very grainy graphics, 2 square screen and 2D play. Its a good time waster for my kids while driving, but I have realized that the screen is so small that they are often straining from 12 inches away to see the characters. To be flat out honest, I dont know why anybody would pay $200 for a DS when you can by a 7 tablet for the same amount of money. I dont sell electronics for a living but the tablets have significantly more capability, power, appealing graphics and most important - Free software! I thought size was the primary issue for buying the DS, but all my sons friends have crash cases which make carrying their DS similar to carring around a brick. I didnt buy the DS for my kids, but I did buy the cartridge used on Amazon. It was packaged, looks and works like new for one-third the price. Apparently thousands of kids that are much older than my kids love the DS device and all the Mario games. I wish someone could explain to me why compared to other devices and products on the market that are much more capable and cheaper to play.

Great Product!! The graphics are amazing and you can even get really big or really tiny depending on the mushroom you get. The only issue is that the levels get really hard really fast (into 2nd world) my 5 year son is a video game pro and has trouble with some of the spots in the levels (2 and up). In the old game you did not get into really hard levels until level 6 or 7. This is a great game and lots of fun, I would not get it for small kids unless you can beat the world for them.
