Overall is a great value for the price with bright screen, nice output colors, great audio, well built and very light. This projector delivers everything that Im looking for especially for its price. Its quite easy to setup, plug the power, turn it on, adjust the focus, pick your media input and way you go. It produces nice colors output even during the day when therere plenty of lights. My rooms wall color is dark brown as you can see from the attached picture, however the projected screen still looks really good. The pictures are taken during day time with plenty of lights from the windows. The audio from the projector is surprisingly very clear, crisp and loud enough and therefore I dont need to use external audio device, although it has the capabilities to do that if you prefer to. If you plan to use it as a primary screen then I suggest youd want to connect it to an external audio device. It comes with AV port (RCA) (cable is included), a standard 3.5mm audio jack cable for headset if youd like privacy or any external audio that has audio jack, or you can connect to external Bluetooh audio device as well. User interface. Going through the menu using the provided remote control device is pretty easy. You can change many of the settings such as picture aspect ratio, picture image setting, auto sleep timer, etc. It has 2 HDMI ports and 2 USB ports for media inputs which are plenty. I play movies from the USB drives and find no lagging at all. One thing Id like to see is the ability to turn on subtitle in case you watch a movie with foreign language that you dont understand. I also connect it to my laptop through HDMI for both running presentation and streaming movies through Netflix/Prime Video. No problem whatsoever in connecting the laptop to it, I tried both setting the projector screen as an extended monitor and also to duplicate my laptop display. The noise is pretty standard for a projector, you may notice it when youre sitting idle but I dont notice the noise when watching movies at all. The mechanical keystone nob on the back is pretty handy, and makes it easy to adjust vertical keystoning. You just need to make sure the projector is sitting on a leveled surface (which what you should do regardless) as it doesnt have horizontal keystoning nor adjustable/leveling feet. It is not an issue personnaly for me at all. The projector is well built overall, doesnt look inexpensively made and is lightweight making it very easy to carry and move around. It starts up and shuts down fairly quick too, nice bonus. If youre looking for a projector that is well built, produces nice good looking screen and great audio, lightweight and fairly decent price. You cant go wrong with this Nexigo PJ20 projector.

I have quite a collection of projectors at home, ranging from ultra-bright short-throw projectors to long-throw media projectors, and Im quite happy to be adding this one to my arsenal. This is a bright, sharp, lightweight, well-built LED projector. Im really impressed with what this projector can do, but first of all, Im very grateful that the seller is upfront and honest and doesnt try to lie to you with overstated numbers like so many other sellers do. This is an LED projector and it never tries to tell you it is anything different, it never tries to make any ridiculous misleading claims of crazy high lumens like so many others here on Amazon try to do. I value honesty and transparency in marketing, so thank you Nexigo. If you are new to projector shopping, only use ANSI lumens when comparing projectors, anything else is misleading. That being said, I was pleasantly surprised with how bright this projector actually is. I have used it for multiple purposes and it has yet to disappoint. I have used it outdoors for projection mapping on Halloween and it absolutely rocked. The picture was bright and crisp. I have used it indoors for quite a few purposes, but mostly for gaming, and it has worked flawlessly each time. Gaming is an especially good test for a projector because there is often a lot of text that must be clear and sharp so the gamer can read it, and this projector does a great job, I have never had any issues with the sharpness and quality of the picture. As far as features go, its pretty straight forward and includes all the basics you will need. Its actually a pretty short throw, which was a pleasant surprise. I havent measured the throw, but I have it in my bedroom and it throws a really large picture from 16-18 feet away. Love that! It has a mechanical keystone nob on the back of the machine to account for vertical keystoning. It would be nice if it had a horizontal adjustment, but thats not that big of a deal, just point your projector straight at your surface and you wont have any problems. There are plenty of modern-day options for connection on the back, so you shouldnt have any problems connecting up-to-date equipment (there really isnt any need for RCA jacks anymore). The sound is actually not bad for what it is, its loud enough to play occasional games with, but I wouldnt count on it for a long-term solution, especially since you have to account for the sound of the projector fan (which is about the same as other projectors I own), but it doesnt bother me to play it for an hour or two when winding down in the evening. I wouldnt use the onboard sound for a movie of course, unless I didnt have any other options. Perhaps an odd compliment, but one that I really do appreciate, is how quickly it powers up and down. Since it is an LED projector, there is no long warm up and cool down times. You simply hit the button to turn it on, and hit the button to turn it off! Thats it! I love that I dont have to sit and wait for it to cool down if I want to move the projector somewhere after using it. Of course its never going to get as bright as my high-powered lamp projectors, which need a lot more time to cool down, but thats ok. I dont use them for the same purposes so Im fine with that. Right tool, right job, right? I think the only thing I would really like to see added to this projector is picture customization options. There are no options to change brightness, contrast, color, etc. That being said, the only one of those options that I actually missed was the brightness option, and even then it was only once or twice that I wished I had it. For most purposes, the brightness, color, and contrast were just fine for what I needed right out of the box. Im very impressed with the build quality. It feels sturdy and well-built. Its about the same size as a lamp projector, but its much lighter, so it would be easy to pack with you if you needed an option for a portable work presentation solution. It would do just fine in a conference room or classroom where you can control the room lighting. Overall, very pleased with this projector. I am actually using it more than all my other projectors because its just so simple to use and I dont have to worry as much about the heat it creates. Its still hot, because it puts out a ton of light, but its nowhere near as hot as a standard lamp projector, so I feel just fine having it sit on my nightstand connected to a Switch dock so I can play for a bit while chilling in bed. And when Im done, I just turn it off with the remote and thats it! No crazy cool-down period! So if you need an easy-to-use out of the box solution that doesnt require a ton of light and that has a pretty good picture with a relatively short throw distance, you will be happy with this projector. And the fact that Nexigo is an upfront honest seller that responds quickly when needed? Bonus!

It had a great picture, fan not to loud but the sound really weak even hooked up to my surround sound it was weak. The sound was my reason for the 3 stars. Maybe I just got a bad one. Update. The company sent me a new updated projector, got to test it out for about 3 weeks and so far so good it has way better sound. So Im giving it a 5 star. A few of my friends have bought this same projector after and they are very happy.

I purchased 2 of the Nexigo PJ20 to use in my home office. I have been testing them for a week now and am very happy with them so far. The packaging and branding feel really nice, something youd expect to see from higher-end brands. Upon opening the PJs the build quality was excellent. Very well designed, a nice feel to all the buttons and dials. I am using these hooked up to a computer via HDMI, but I also tested out the screen casting from my iPhone 14 Pro. After adding the PJ to my wifi network, I was easily able to cast content to it from my phone. The colors and contrast are very vibrant right out of the box. I didnt have to adjust any settings, but if you feel the need there are plenty of menu options to dial in these settings. The brightness level is good for indoors with the lights dimmed or off completely. The image is very sharp and easy to focus just right. The fan is a little loud but if this was hooked up to a sound bar, and you werent sitting right next to it - I dont think this would be an issue. Great product at a great price!

This affordable and easy to use projector is something I recommend for various uses. It’s ideal for home use indoors or outdoors and would serve well in a business meeting or classroom for presentations. It’s certainly portable. Its instructions are easy to understand and helpful. The picture quality is excellent and the projector itself is surprisingly quiet.

We’d been looking for a reasonably-priced projector for a while now. Overall, we’re pretty happy so far. High-level thoughts: - Picture is crisp and clear. The keystone adjustment is a simple rotary knob. Focus adjustment can be done from the front control panel or the included remote. I found it easier to dial in the focus with the control panel vs the remote. - There are no means to elevate or tilt the projector. You will have to MacGyver your own elevation and tilt system for your environment. - While you can use Bluetooth or a wired connection to a mobile device, there are limitations as to what can be played back on-screen. There’s some sort of DRM issue using certain iOS apps (D+, Netflix, etc) with a screen-mirroring connection. We found it best to move the Fire stick and plug it into the projector directly. Menu and picture setup were far better this way, too. - The included power cord is short. Plan on an extension cord, or use a longer power cord. - While it has built-in speakers, you may want to bring a BT speaker for maximum sound output. All that being said, the projector was very easy to set up and use. Haven’t spent more than a couple minutes focusing the projector, regardless of distance to wall. Bluetooth audio works well. Very happy with the simple controls, sharp picture, connectivity options. There are two HDMI inputs and two USB inputs. You can directly connect an android/iOS device, a usb stick with media on it, or anything with an HDMI port. The 1080p resolution scales well for a backyard movie night with the kiddos. There’s not really a ton to say about it, other than it functions well. Recommended.

This is a great Projector that you can do a lot with. The Picture & Sound Quality (Especially Bluetooth) is Excellent & makes for a very Entertaining Device. Ive got Flat Screen TVs all over my house so I use my Projector mostly outside. The Power Requirements (140 Watts) being so low you use with a small 175 Watt Inverter easily ( See Photo ). Using a Streaming Device on HDMI & Bluetooth to a Sound System we enjoyed the Super bowl & afterwards Played Music & Concerts off USB Flash Drives. My Friends were very impressed & I was so Proud of my Purchase with many of them saying they plan to buy one. Tailgating & the Beach is next so my Unit will really Enhance my Spring & Summer Fun.

Wanted a projector to use outside so the kids could have a movie night from time to time. This fit the bill for what I was looking for as I wanted something budget friendly and did not necessarily need all the features of the more expensive model. Solid picture and we can easily set it up outside more movie nights.

Our TV went on the fritz and we only do streamable anyway so we decided to try this projector out. It is brighter than our old one which I love and the fire stick comes off the back instead of the side which I also love. Top it off, you can adjust the focus using the remote instead of manual controls. We watch EVERYTHING on here and when it warms up, we will take it outdoors for movies on the patio as well.

I really wanted to like this projector. On paper, it seemed to have all the features I was looking for at a fair price. I own another entry level projector to which I needed a second for the upcoming holidays. As a source of comparison, both projectors are native 1080P with similar features. I read many reviews and watched videos of the same which are somewhat misleading as to this projector. Picture Quality: It is fair, but even in a dark setting with no ambient light, clarity and color is okay at best. There is color bleed and oversaturation even when turned down. Watchable but not enjoyable. Many details are lost in standard, its too washed out in dynamic and custom setting do not provide a happy medium. The focus control via remote is cool and nice to see an image to calibrate. Keystone is okay as well with a manual knob on the power button. Phone casting worked well. Sound: The biggest let down in several ways. This product markets itself as having great sound and Dolby capability. It can decode a Dolby signal but that is useless when the sound quality better on my iPhone. It has one speaker which is severely under powered and sounds rather weak. I attempted to compensate for this with both wired and wireless speaker setups, however, there is severe input lag with audio with Bluetooth as well as a wired connections. I attempted to correct via audio calibration but it still continued to lag. Also, something in the projector seems to limits the audio output to about 50% of its normal capability in external devices. I had completed a firmware upgrade to see if it would help, but it did not resolve the problem. Design/Remote: Projector itself appears well built and it was easy to setup. Connectivity is good. Menus are okay, but somewhat dated. The remove is very small(does not come with batteries) and works fine, but IR sensor lags on input. Sadly, I had to return after a week as I couldnt get the sound to an acceptable level.
