My dentist kept giving me one every time I went in for a teeth cleaning but didnt use it until later. They are so gentle on your teeth and gums. My mom hasnt taken care of her teeth so I gave her these because her gums would always bleed on other toothbrushes. Its a great toothbrush and cleans my teeth better than an electric. My spouse was skeptical when I put away my electric toothbrush for this type of toothbrush, but he soon saw the difference in my teeth. I then convinced him to try it, and he loved it. Receding gums are a problem in my family and while mine are not as bad as other family members, maybe the little recession Im experiencing is whats causing the pricking feeling occasionally while I brush. I grimace slightly anticipating it, and I brush very softly, but it does feel like small pricks here and there on my gums. I find I experience the pricks more when I go in a circular motion. My gums tingle for about 5 minutes afterward, but theres never any blood or anything, and my gum line looks great. Id recommend this toothbrush to anyone.
