I have several, with and without the lock. If the slide lock is in the extreme unlocked position, it causes a little gap that allows a key to easily slip off. I lost a car key this way. I prefer the non locking biner. Big bob

Perfect solution to the s beaner. Ive lost keys while using the regular s beaner. This one locks and hasnt caused me to lose anything. Just lock it and it stays put.
