I bought the medium platform and the small wheel from Niteangel too. I wanted to have the wheel and an extra space to put some chew toys and it worked perfectly. Also, since the platform is quite big, my hamster has a lot of space to sleep underneath it. The platform construction is sturdy. Highly recommend it!!

Does the trick for the wheel and my hamster loves to sleep under this.

In conjunction with the wheel, I love this stand! The legs are wide enough that my gerbils dont even attempt to chew on them. FINALLY! A platform I dont have to worry about!!!

DISCLAIMER: YOU NEED TO PUT A LAYER OF TAPE OR GLUE SOME OF THE PEGS TO MAKE THEM STABLE. This is stated in the directions and it bugs me how so many people are taking off stars because they didnt read the packet. Anyway, I bought this for my roborovski hamster, Matt, as a Christmas present. Be aware that if you have a medium sized wheel or larger, it will not fit in a standard 40 gallon tank. However, since I have a small wheel (8 inch Niteangel wheel), it fits just fine if you adjust the wheel height. If you bought the wrong stand or don’t have a Niteangel wheel, it also makes a very nice platform for water, a hideout, etc. if you put it on level with the bedding or have a ladder going up (as shown). Assembly was easy; all you had to do was put the dowels on the base, and if one was loose, you put a piece of tape (also included) on it and try again. Only two of the legs on mine were loose and now they are sturdy. They will be difficult to remove. The base is also finished which is nice so I don’t have to worry about water being trapped. Overall, this is a very nice product, but it is very tall, so make sure you add 3 inches to your wheel height. If it’s too big, you can just use it as a platform, which is perfectly fine too.

When mine arrived 3 of the tendons in the box were perfectly fit into the holes and the 4th was loose in the box. I tried to fix it and put the last tendon in the hole but it was impossible, it doesnt fit properly and will disappear into the stilt once you put that on. For the prices Niteangel charges youd think theyd manage better quality control, Im very disappointed.

The stand is sturdy and though nothing wood is ever chew proof my ham is not showing any interest yet in improving her whittling skills.

The actual platform is ok but the legs are hard to get on because all four do no stay. After finally getting them on, I realized this isn’t as stable as it should be so I will be returning it.

Is a perfect fit with the niteangel medium wheel. Great sturdy legs, easy to put together.

I brought the stilts into a hardware store and got more length and attached w wood glue. Works awesome and I can have 10 inch of bedding now.

I opened, and while putting the legs on, I saw a crack in the seams. Id expect better quality from this brand.
