Niteangel Hamster Play Wooden Platform for Dwarf Syrian Hamsters Gerbils Mice Degus or Other Small Pets (Rectange - 7 Height, White)

I think NiteAngel listened to customer complaints because my platform came with a roll of masking tape. I added a small bit on the pegs of the platform then firmly attached the legs. Works great. Top is smooth and easy to clean. Love the space for bedding that the height of the platform gives my hamster.

The product is VERY sturdy when you apply the masking tape that comes with it. I taped one layer around each dowel peg that protrudes from the shelf of the platform and then the legs slide very snuggly onto the dowel, no shaking, no slipping. My platforms arrived in Feb 2022 and maybe this was a new element they added after all of the negative feedback on sturdiness? *ONLY NEGATIVE: the 11in height is rather dangerous for all hammies when left out in open air. Sure, if you have 10in of bedding for burrowing underneath, then wonderful it is safe! But otherwise this height is just too high and your hammie risks falling (even Syrians!).

The size is perfect. Easy to clean with a small dust pan. Use it to hold the wheel and water bottle.

Legs fall off way to easily other than that this is great. It’s very sturdy and it’s a great platform to put the wheel on!

the product seems good but one of the stilts is missing a hole. so now the platform cant sand up.

I think this might be the only niteangel product I feel was a fail. The legs do not stay on. One nudge, and you have a total collapse. Its difficult to set up and falls over easily as youre decorating the cage. Ive tried hot gluing them in, but they dont sit in deep enough for that to help. I dont understand why these dont just screw on or something like even the simplest IKEA table...? Ive built similar ones since and used screws so they stay. This falls over way too easily.

Little hard to assemble and was not that sturdy other than that was great

Its great once you get it to stand up, the posts kept falling out... once it was standing its great i have it holding up my water dish and water bottle and a cooling rock. Very handy and gives extra space for my hammie!!
