Noctua NA-HC1 chromax.Black.swap, Heatsink Cover for NH-U12S, NH-U12S TR4-SP3, NH-U12S DX-3647 & NH-U12S SE-AM4 (Black)

As per the usual Noctua standards, the Noctua Heatsink cover was well packaged, well engineered, and had great instructions for installation. I have to say that it simply looks great on the Heatsink, and it gives the heatsink a much more finished kind of look. It is very easy to install. The sides of the shroud that cover the sides of the heatsink fit fine and still fit flush despite the fan clips being underneath. You will have to remove the shroud to remove the fan, and the fan clips. If you feel creative enough, there is enough room at the top of the shroud to install an LED or RGB LED light strip underneath the shroud, and to replace the colored inserts with a hand cut white translucent plastic insert, (think plastic coffee can lid), and run the wire to the Motherboard, and synch it up with a Motherboard RGB LED. Now you have a genuine Noctua RGB LED heatsink cover.

Easy to install and adds a little color. Not a must have but it looks good

Looks nice, I never got my cooler after repeated delivery delays so unfortunately it’s prob going to the trash since I bought a different cooler.

Fits perfectly on my noctua u12a! And if you have nzxt 510i case like I have it’s gonna be a tight fit.

Installed this on a NH-U12S inside a core v21 case, installation was simple & adds the look i was going for, keep in mind it does at about 3mm to total height.

Nice item to customize and clean up the look of your Noctua cooler. But expensive for what it is.

Missing the filler between the heatsing and the cover that you clip it on.

Pros:

Looks good but overpriced in my opinion and should probably just come as a standard accessory with the coolers.

Easy to install, fits perfectly, and provides side cover which may also increase air flow through the fin array versus it going through the sides, but not sure if this actually improves cooling performance.
