Noctua NF-A12x15 PWM chromax.Black.swap, Premium Quiet Slim Fan, 4-Pin (120x15mm, Black)

Just hoping this is enough to cool my threadripper pro. I’m using asus sage mobo and threadripper pro, noctua 120mm cooling. I replaced the thick fan which was pressed against my ram with two of these, one on each side. Hopefully they move enough air for me! I

Warning: The fan cable for chromax version is only a 1” long dongle. The 4-pin PWM “extension” cable included serves AS the entirety of the fan power cable. The “swappable” colored rubber pads are adhesive one-time-use, so not really swappable like on other chromax fans.. Doesn’t include 4-Pin PWM splitter y-cable, low noise adapter (LNA), anti-vibration rubber mounts, or an actual PWM extension cable that the brown version includes AND is more expensive than the brown version. The chromax version is NOT just a black version of the beige/brown fan, it Is physically different and does not include the same accessories. You are probably better off saving your money and getting the standard brown version. However the fan itself is typical high quality Noctua, but for the price the standard Noctua accessories should be included. I took two stars off for that, and for switching to a tiny 1” PWM power cable.

Awesome addition to my PC build. using it as an intake fan in the Corsair Airflow 275 case. the chroma line for noctua is awesome if you want to style out your rig. After buying the 120mm fan, i opted to buy the 140mm industrial chroma fans to beef up the airflow in my PC. Recently turned on to Noctua by a friend and will forever be a fan from here on out. Easy install and awesome accessories to cater to the aesthetics of your PC build with the variety of color choice for the bumpers.

Shown in photo is a LPN sticker which most likely means the item has been returned. Wires on the fan show signs of worn but besides that, the fan works fine. If I would’ve known I wasn’t gonna receive a brand new item I would have just saved a little of money to buy it used.

Perfect fit for my build. I did need a thinner fan to fit on my enormus CPU cooler and a normal 25mm was getting in the way of the RAM stick cooling fins. This was perfect.

These fans are the perfect fit for my liquid cooled build in the Formd T1, the short pigtail for the power really came in handy when it comes to cable management.

Otherwise great product mine just arrive broken in a amazon shipping box that was soaked with water and crushed

Fantastic quality you expect from Noctua. That said knocking off a star in quality for the bearing on the front face being visible. Noctua continues to put function over form, even in a product where they are going for a better aesthetic.

Works great!!! Added onto my chromax nhd15 after the ram didnt allow enough height for the second 14mm fan to fit in the case. The case was the cooler master td500 mesh white, Asus prime b550 motherboard and 2 sticks of 8 gig ballistic memory.
