Built my first PC and used these as my case fan coolers. They are super silent compared to other non-Noctua case fans Ive seen in different builds. Installation was very simple and easy. At first the color of these fans threw me off, but thought to myself...performance or looks? Definitely the former for me. And honestly, the brown/tan color doesnt bother me at all. They look really oddly nice and has that premium feel to it. People werent kidding when they said these are crazy good. I recommend 100%. You wont be disappointed ^o^

This fan is ultra quite, However, like others have said it comes with a very short cord approximately 6-10 inches. The good thing is that it also comes with some extensions and splitters. You will definitely need them.

Great fan. Expensive but the amount of quiet it outputs for the cooling it does is worth it.

In my experience These do not perform any better than many other high-performance fans that are half the price , however, they seem to be built to a much higher standard than any other enthusiast or professional grade PC fans.I use these for High-end Graphic workstation builds that need to survive under a desk in a dusty office for 5+ years without being cleaned. We use Corsair,Cooler Master, bitfenix, thermaltake, and many other brands, many of which have similar or better initial performance, but none of them stay quiet after years of use like the noctua fans do. If Im doing a build where low operating noise is critical, Noctua is the only brand i trust to maintain that level of performance for the life of the machine.

Always a great buy with high performance and quality. Comes with a lot of cable extras that allow easy routing back to a fan hub. Cpu dropped 8 degrees after updating from generic case fans.

Ive used Noctua CPU coolers and fans for a number of years, based on the great experience I had with their NH-U12P CPU cooler. I used this particular fan in my most recent build to replace the rear fan in a Fractal Design Node 304 in combination with two Noctua NF-B9 PWM fans to replace the front fans. It has provided the expected combination of superior cooling performance and near silence that Noctua is known for.

Quieter than I had expected, and works well with the fan controls on my ASUS Sabertooth X79 motherboard. I have ordered more Noctua fans now, based on my delight with this one.

Great fan until it went bad about 3 months after purchase. Noctua has been telling me they are sending me a new fan since march 2014, its now august. Their customer service is an absolute joke which is too bad because it was a nice fan.

nice fan. I would ignore the fan noise complaints. My guess its air being pushed over protection grills when its running 100% more than the fan itself. I suppose I could test that theory but I only need 60% and at that speed its silent.

I bought two of these to replace the Jetflo 140s found on the Nepton 280L. If you didnt know, the stocks fans for the Nepton make your computer sound like a microwave!
