Just installed this as a case fan to replace an ultra sleek (very thin) from a different manufacturer. Needed a thin fan to fit on the side panel of my case but got annoyed with the noise. This fan is rated for better air movement and pressure than my previous fan and you can definitely feel it. Best of all ... ITS WHISPER QUIET! Noctua has me sold. All my future fans will be from this company. And as an added bonus, when building your own computer warranty is not something to be overlooked. This one has a 6 year. Would definitely recommend this!

Worked perfect for a push/pull setup with my Noctua NH-U14S. It is easily the best fan Ive ever owned, and was so amazing to work with, the old 212 cooler I had was such a pain to work with and the stock fans were loud and were eh, OK, this fan is top notch and came with the cooler, but I just had to get the 2nd fan.

This fan seems like a good fan, but is not the same fan that ships with the NH-D15. The key difference is that this fan runs at a max of 1200RPM while the NH-D15s NF-A15 runs at 1500RPM.

Fan pushes a good amount of air for the noise levels. Its very quiet for my standards. Packaging and accessories are very premium. Do your research beforehand for correct application of this size and shape of fan. (unlike a lot of the bogus reviews i read on this fan due to PLBKAC) I used it on a Cooler Master geminii S524 ver 2 heatsink cpu cooler and it fit as a direct replacement. This is my first noctua product and Im fairly impressed. I like the rubber anti vibration bits. Colors are a little odd but Ive come to like it. Great purchase.

Super quality fan, comes with all accessories imaginable. Really, really quiet as expected. I chose this because I never wanted to question the quality of the fan, and sometimes that piece-of-mind is worth paying a little bit more. But lets face it, Noctua fans arent really THAT much more, but cooling your PC is very important, so it was a no-brainer for me.

I own an old NZXT Phantom mid-case, the case advertises that it can hold 140mm case fans on the top portion of the case, which it does but then the top case wont close properly. This is due to the weird slant the case has which gets caught on one of the case fans corner.

I have a Noctua NH-C12P SE14 CPU cooler in my latest build. It came with the 140mm round fan, but it had the 3pin power connector instead of the newer 4 pin PWM connector my motherboard wanted. The CPU heatsink is a huge thing and this 140x150x25mm frame fan is a better fit than the round version. The heatsink is a down facing model with the fan blowing down on the motherboard components. Big bonus is it seems a little quieter than the previous fan. Not sure if its the level of the noise or the color of the noise, but it sounds better. It comes with removeable rubber pads to keep vibration to a minimum in applicable installations. They didnt come into contact in my situation, so I removed them; but they would be sweet in other applications. SpeedFan 4.47, a Windows monitor utility, picks up the RPM signal from the fan. I dont bother adjusting the fan speed, its quiet enough to just run full speed all the time, which also gives max cooling to the motherboard components. Color ? Its a delightfully ugly color that grows on you. Yeah, its subversive and expensive, but capitalism at its finest.

Fans are well built and great airflow. There is no bearing noise whatsoever. At full tilt, the noise is not annoying, it just sounds like moving air. Highly recommend. These are by far the best fans on the market.

For men who like Teslas and cant change their own oil, this fan may be the perfectly quiet underpowered build continuity ruining eye-sore that will last for ages. For guys & gals who value sub 50 degree Celsius average temps for their 32-core threadrippers, this IS NOT the fan, especially if you dont want your hand-crafted RGB synchronous work of art/spaceship to leave you wanting to cover it with a paper bag or in need of a heavy dose of anti-depressants.
