Noctua NF-A4x20 5V PWM, Premium Quiet Fan, 4-Pin, 5V Version (40x20mm, Brown)

I was blow away by the quality of this fan. The details, the material feels like it will last a really long time. You can tell people did lots of research.

I bought two of these little gems with the intent of installing them to cool a pair of NVMe drives. Instead I created a bracket to mount both to place on the front end of an Sapphire RX580 Nitro. I set the fan speed to the lowest setting in BIOS and now the main GPU fans never come on. Temps are always in the mid 20c. Now I have to buy two more for the NVMe drives.

Excellent fan but could have been a lower price.

yes they look pretty funky with the colors but they do such a great job of pushing air and cooling the intended product.

Quieter then the Noctua 40x10mm fans and better air flow

Unless Im running something intense, the PWM fan is usually off. Then when the Jetson Nano gets warm the fan turns on just enough to cool it. I never notice this fan - I have to look at the blades to see if its spinning because its so quiet. The default fan I replaced came with a third party acrylic Jetson Nano case, it was not PWM, always running full speed and a noisy little fan at that. Ive seen other comments on the default fan saying its not very loud. I suspect the low quality, default case fan varies in noise from unit to unit. If you want quiet - Get the Noctua PWM! I got the thick one, so I had to find some longer screws. I should have gotten the thin one which I expect would work fine and use the existing HW. At any rate, if quiet and sanity are worth a couple coffees to you, get the Noctua PWM fan, such an improvement over the default fan that came with the third party Jetson Nano case.

I should have click the buy button on the two(2) fans package from a different maker for roughly the same price. You are paying more marketing , and silly fold out displays, tons of fancy packaging, it come packed in alot of plastic which could be cardboard, three sets of oddball extra cables just throw 50% of the package contents in the trash. I am using this on a jetson nano and it sounds a performs the same as the stock one. I used thin guage wire to attach the fan and just twisted it to sung it down. All the connectectors that cam with it i just tossed the the trash.

Noctua is a get what you pay for brand. They are expensive fans. But quiet and reliable. Definitely made the router under my desk quieter. Unlike some of the cheaper quiet fans, these guys will run for years and stay quiet.
