Noctua NF-A8 PWM chromax.Black.swap, Premium Quiet Fan, 4-Pin (80mm, Black)

I have recently decided to annoy my girlfriend to death by purchasing a rack cabinet for my condo office and filling it with totally unnecessary hardware like Ubiquiti switches and raspberry pis.

I bought a refurbished HP EliteDesk 800 G2 SFF to create a router (OPNSense). Everything went great, except that the CPU fan was audible. It wasnt loud, but I wanted to silence it. There are few brands, but nonetheless Noctua is THE best. Now my new router is silent, its CPU temp went down from 42C to 33C with IPS + ZenArmor + Unbound DNS DNSBL all enabled.

Cool, quiet, good quality

NF-A8 fan is virtually silent in PWM mode. Rubber isolation mounts in various colors is a neat idea. Long bearing life greater than 150,000hrs is a plus considering the price. Cable sleeving is high quality. The chromax line looks good in black. The short fan tail is bulky when routing multiple fan wires together.
