Noctua NF-A9 PWM chromax.Black.swap, Premium Quiet Fan, 4-Pin (92mm, Black)

Bought two of these for my Noctua CPU cooler so I could match up the colors in my new build and these worked out perfectly! As always, the fans function flawlessly and are whisper quiet.

If you swap all of your fans for these, your system will run cooler and more quiet, almost guaranteed. Not a lot of companies out there like Noctua, I highly recommend going to their website to see compatability.

If only the NH-D9L already had the chromax black option for sale. Bought these to replace all four of my NH-D9L CPU fans in my micro atx builds just to achieve slightly better aesthetics. Regardless of what color you are satisfied with, Noctua is premium quality.

This thing is very quiet as expected, my other fan was so loud no cap fr fr, I can actually hear my games now!

So nocuta finally listens to customers and makes a black fan, you know like the rest of the industry, but instead of just changing the color, they used this opportunity to double the price by calling it cromax. All they did is put different color pads in the box and split the cord into a detachable one and double the price. First of all the cord is terrible. Its too short to get the connector out of the way so its always visible. I would rather have a longer cord attached permanently. The colored pads are dumb. You most likely will only use one color and throw the rest away and if you do like them, they arent worth $10 which is what Noctua is charging you for these. Noctua needs to lower the price of these chromax fans and ditch the removable cord.

I bought this fan to replace the stock 80mm fan in my Dell G5 desktop to improve airflow since this pc only has 1 case fan. It was very easy to install, my case already had pre-drilled holes for a 92mm fan. It is also much quieter than the stock fan. I paired this fan with a Noctua NH-U9S cpu cooler and they lowered my temps by over 20c. Overall nice fan, worth the money.
