    When my pre-order for my 12900k was processed, I bought lga1700 mounting kits for every cooler I own. The Noctua mounting kit was the first one to arrive so I decided to use it. Everything you need to mount your D-15 to an lga1700 board is here and mounting the cooler is fairly straight-forward.

I am not sure if I love the Noctua brown everything comes in, but I do certainly love your products performance and commitment to extend the life of incredible coolers.

    I changed my computer motherboard that had a Noctua NH-D15s CPU cooler and needed a new motherboard bracket to support the latest Intel 12th Gen LGA 1700 processor. This is the necessary bracket to buy to be able to use on several Noctua cooler models that you need to check first on the Noctua website for compatibility. This definitely works on at least the Noctua NH-D15s model with the same Noctua quality you expect at a small price. If you recently purchased their coolers, Noctua may send you a free compatible bracket. Otherwise, this is the small price to pay with free Amazon shipping for Prime members.

The NM-i17xx-MP83 kit is compatible with a wide range of Noctua CPU coolers that use 83mm mounting pitch, whereas heatsinks with 78mm mounting pitch must use the MP78 version. Please refer to our detailed compatibility information to check which kit is right for your cooler.

Caution: This mounting upgrade kit makes it possible to install a Noctua heatsink, which has originally been designed for other sockets according to their specifications, on LGA1700 hardware. As the clearance specifications for LGA17xx differ from other sockets, it is crucial to verify that your heatsink is fully compatible with your LGA17xx motherboard before installation. Please consult our compatibility database in order to make sure that your motherboard is fully compatible with your heatsink.
