Greater than one weekA pack of 3 replacement bands that are higher quality than stock Garmin band that cost $50 for one replacement. Fit Fenix 5x perfectly. As with any silicon band wash with soap before wearing first time and wash off after every workout to avoid skin irritation. Alternate wrist when sleeping to let skin breathe.

17-04-2025Searched for a replacement as the original is showing it’s wear. To replace with an actual Garmin it would cost me over $45. Saw the reviews on this and for $14, it is a great price. Side by side, can’t tell the difference. Now it feels like I have a brand new Fenix 5x.

> 3 dayI really like these straps. Super nice just to swap out staps on a whim to fit your outfit and not break the bank. One of my straps did manage to lose a screw that is used to secure the buckle... which was quite unfortunate. Not a major train smash, but I did loosen the others and added some Loctite to the screws just to make sure it does not happen to them as well. On that note, the screws did have some sort of locking paste on the screw, but I just wanted to make sure it did not happen to any of the other straps.

> 3 dayI walk, run, crawl the southern Texas border with my Garmin Fenix 5. I wanted something with a bit less contrast to my uniform, and the color of these bands did not disappoint. The material quality also feels superior to the factory Garmin wrist bands that are supplied with the watch out of the box. This was surprising due to the price. It’s a bit too early to determine durability, I’ve spent well over a year with the factory bands, and summer is coming so we’ll see how these hold up.

> 3 dayAnyone who gives this product a 5 star review has never had a truly nice watch. Any watchband that sells for $30 can not be better than 3 stars. I was going to give this 3 stars until my watch fell off my wrist during the extremely strenuous activity of pushing an empty shopping cart through the Costco TV isle... The 1 star review: Its garbage. It broke in just 30 days. I never used it during a strenuous activity. I would switch bands for anything rigorous. I have extra pins so I could put it back together if I wanted, but I simply dont trust it with a $300 dollar watch. The 3 star review: (if it didnt break) Build quality: Its cheap. For less than $30, I expected as much. The tolerances are very loose. Large visible gaps between links and a lot of lateral movement along the pins. It makes a lot of noise when you move it around. By comparison, my official Pebble Time Steel band has much tighter tolerances, far smaller gaps between links, and feels much sturdier. The Pebble Time Steel band also originally retailed for $99. And the Pebble Time Steel band feels cheap compared to my Citizen Eco-drives steel band. Dont under estimate the importance of a good watch band. Functionality: The quick connect works well. The closing mechanism works. It was easy to remove links. There are no micro adjustments (there are on the Garmin metal band). It really needs a half-sized link for better fit. It was too loose for my liking, but removing one more link would have made it too snug. Looks: Its a very shiny black and doesnt match the matte finish of the fēnix series very well. The end section that connects to the watch is very large and broad. Looks really out of scale next to the standard links. It also looks like its just a standard watchstrap attached to the quick connector. You might even be able to swap the band out for a different band. Then again, its the part that connects to the watch that looks the worst. Conclusion: dont buy a cheap steel watch band. It doesnt matter how many stars it has. Any decent one will cost at least $100 dollars. Remember this is an expensive watch you are entrusting to it. The only reason I bought this was to class up my fēnix 3 until I decided which smartwatch I wanted next. If your intention is to wear you fēnix as your daily driver buy the official Garmin strap, or look for higher end alternatives.

> 3 dayThe little rubber strap holder things broke. Found some that were $6-8 for a pack of them. Found a whole new band in multiple colors. Picked what I would call a slate blue. Got here in decent time before my trip. Easy swap with the included torq head screw drivers. Feels like an OEM Garmin strap. Even if it breaks, it was $14. Very happy with the new band. Would buy over again, without hesitation.

> 3 dayThe notched piece of the original band was worn down and broken in a few spots. This band feels and looks exactly like the original manufacturers band. Its very comfortable and snapped easily onto my fenix 5x. Looks and feels great!

> 3 dayBand snapped right in and works great. It’s a little more flexible than the original Garmin band and feels lighter.
