> 3 dayThis was my first time purchasing jojoba oil from NOW. I usually purchase their grapeseed oil from Amazon and have been pleased with the product and delivery so far. I purchased the 16 oz bottle of jojoba oil and I was very excited to receive it yesterday...until I inspected up the package. There was an oily stain on the Amazon box that caught me off guard and made me a bit anxious; however none of the products inside the box had oil residue on them. They were all clean and properly sealed. Therefore, I assumed that something else (not my products) had spilt on the box, or whatever had spilt had been quickly taken out and replaced. Well, my merchandise is there, all looking fresh and clean, so nooo problem! So far. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the bottle of jojoba oil, though well sealed, was NOT full. I thought I was going blind, until I sprinted upstairs to pull out my newly purchased, unopened bottle of NOW grapeseed oil to compare. Lo and behold, I wasnt blind! And Im not stupid either. What in the NOW world happened to the rest of the oil? Thats some expensive oil to be missing that much! Considering I use less than a dime size for my face, that missing portion is probably a months worth of product, and Im certainly being generous here. This is utterly unacceptable. Im not sure who messed up, whether Amazon resealed the product AFTER it spilt, or NOW is cheating people out of a few ounces of an expensive product by not filling it up TO THE TOP as it does with other (read: cheaper) products. Either way, thats deplorable business. If I pay for 16 fl oz of product, I want to receive 16 fl oz of product, ESPECIALLY when that product is as pricey as jojoba oil is. Do that with almond oil, I dont care; it makes my skin break out anyway. Besides that *sigh*, it seems like a good quality product; it smelled slightly nutty. That explains the two stars.

> 3 dayI love NOW Foods products, especially the jojoba oil! It penetrates into my skin nicely. I started using it, three years ago, when I turned 50, when my skin began to get very dry. Its one of the main ingredients in my homemade body butter and I use it everyday. My skin is so soft and younger looking. Because its odorless, I can add essential oils to it for aromatherapy or just to smell good. I use many of the NOW Food oils and I love them all! There are many brands on the market, but I trust the NOW Foods brand.

> 3 dayThis is the second time I have ordered this item. The company that made the jojoba oil I previously used no longer offers jojoba oil. So far so good. My hair and body seem to love this jojoba oil. I use the LOC method to moisturize my hair. Water, coconut oil, conditioner then jojoba oil to seal it all in. For some reason, with this combination, my hands are sticky when I finish. This however, does not affect the results on my hair. I have high porosity hair so I have to moisturize every night (ugh).

> 3 dayI use this oil as a makeup remover - I take about a teaspoon-full in the palm of my hand, rub it gently on my face and makeup, then wash off with soap and water as usual. This has been really beneficial for my skin as it helps to gently pick up any leftover particles that I would otherwise miss with normal cleansing. The oil has a pretty strong nutty smell which some people might not like, but I got used to it quickly. This brand and size seems to be the best price that Ive found so far, and the oil is of a nice quality and consistency. The bottle is somewhat large, so I pour portions of it into a smaller bottle and use a little at a time.

> 3 dayI am middle-aged and my skin and hair has increased dryness at this time of life. I have noticed a great result after I started using jojoba oil on my skin and hair regularly. The NOW brand jojoba is reasonably priced for the product.

> 3 dayIve been using jojoba oil for my hair for a couple years now. When I was living in New York, I would put some jojoba oil on the ends of my hair before I shampoo it, and it helps my hair stay tangle-free for the rest of the day. However, when I moved to Wisconsin, that method simply wasnt enough. The hard water and the cold (and therefore the heater) really damaged my hair and my scalp. My scalp became flaky, REALLY flaky, but its not dandruff, just dead, dry skin. My hair lost its shine and I started shedding more hair than when I was in New York. I tried installing water filter for my shower head, tried natural shampoos & conditioners, tried scalp treatments, tried a bunch of different brands that claim to be hydrating, but nothing worked. Thats when I went back to my trusty jojoba oil. I made my own blend of jojoba oil (4oz), rosemary essential oil (20 drops, supposedly rosemary helps with hair growth by increasing circulation), and lavender essential oil (4 drops, also helps with circulation). I massage my scalp with the blend, put on a shower cap and let it sit for about 30 mins every day (yes, I shampoo every day, its a habit that I cant change even though its probably why my scalp is so dry...) Ive been doing that for a couple weeks now, and my hair has never been shinier. My scalp feels hydrated, the flakes are gone, and my hair stays tangle-free all day. When I dont have 30 minutes for hair treatment, I just massage the blend into my scalp and shampoo right away. It doesnt work as well, but its better than nothing! Ive also tried jojoba oil on my face as a moisturizer and as a cleanser (oil cleansing method), but my face doesnt seem to appreciate it as much as my scalp does. Jojoba oil has a comedogenic rating of 2, which is moderately low, but can potentially still clog pores for some people. Though theres a lot of talk on the internet about how it resembles the natural sebum that we produce & therefore shouldnt clog pores, it just doesnt work for me. I use argan oil for my face, which has comedogenic rating of 0, and its working pretty well.

> 3 dayI have super frizzy curly hair and have been using hair oils for years. Up until last year, I used conventional shampoo and conditioner. After switching to a baking soda and apple cider vinegar regimen in the shower every day, my hair is much less frizzy. Still, I need a little oil after the shower! And jojoba oil is perfect. It does have a smell to it that I think is benign, but others have noticed the smell. Im talking up close, like when my mom gave me a hug or when my husband cuddles up to me. Theyve said its not a bad smell, its just a...smell. Ha, yes, Im very descriptive. Maybe theyre smelling the vinegar in my hair rinse. Anyway, I added some scented beauty oil (essential oils) to it and it smells great now! Also, a little goes a long way, so this bottle lasts me about a year.
