NuGo Dark Pretzel and Sea Salt, 12g Vegan Protein, 200 Calorie, Gluten Free, 24 Count

The FDA recently made a change to the labelling rules. It seems manufacturers objected to the new rule that lines had to be cleaned of non-listed ingredients before new products can list the ingredient list on their label unless they print a disclaimer may contain item. Guess what. NuGo also has non-vegan products. I have an allergy to dairy that results in a painful outbreak of hives (ok - really painful zits) on my face. I had that reaction after consuming a couple of these bars. Im really disappointed in these non-vegan vegan bars - they taste really good. I havent had this reaction with previous purchases of them. I guess I got lucky and got a batch that wasnt part of the changeover before now, but this latest box made it clear that I cant depend on that.

Theyre not very filling but take the edge off being hungry and are healthy. Ive ordered 3 flavors and love them all.

Great combo of taste and none of the allergens that makes me itchy. For me, these are cheaper on Amazon than my grocery store.

The pretzel flavor is sooooo good. More of a dessert treat.

Love the chocolate preztel sea salt as does everyone I have reocommended it to. It is tasty and a great option for me as I have a dairy allergy. (It has become popular among my df group). Only drawback, if you live where it can get hot, the ice pack and insulation in packaging will not prevent it from melting; even if you pick it up as soon as it is delivered. Hope they can improve on keeping it cool.

While these are okay, I was hoping for more of a peanut butter flavor, as an alternative to the Dark Chocolate Chocolate Chip and the Dark Pretzel & Sea Salt bars. In the end, I prefer the Dark Pretzel & Sea Salt.

The peanut butter isn’t my favorite flavor; I wish it was more peanut buttery. Love that it’s coated in real dark chocolate. The texture is great it’s like a rice crispy treat covered in chocolate. It feels like eating a candy bar.

The Dark Peanut Butter Cup bars are so delicious! Hands down my favorite protein bars and theyre vegan. I tried these on a whim a few years ago and was immediately hooked. These have the perfect balance of dark chocolate and peanut butter... if the packaging didnt say Dark, I would have thought these were milk chocolate. These have a rice crispy-like consistency. I eat these when I need a snack or am craving chocolate; probably healthier than eating a chocolate candy bar. It should also be mentioned these come shipped with a reusable icepack and insulation so they dont melt during transit. I highly recommend!
