> 24 hourI just opened the pack and each container had stuck tablets so nothing could be used. The caps on each had been partially opened. Obviously either a defect or worse. Not worth even one star.

> 24 hourIn my early 50s I took an unexpectedly long and strenuous hike -- about 5 hours with probably 1000 feet of elevation gain -- in high heat in Yosemite. I had been prepared for a shorter hike and didnt have enough water or anything to eat. I was fine until I tried to get out of the car on the way back to house wed rented. My legs cramped up so severely that I literally could not unbend them to walk into the house. Id never experienced leg cramps before and had no idea what was happening. Ever since, whenever I exercise strenuously during the day, I end up with severe evening leg cramps when I finally sit down to relax, or when I try to sleep. They got bad enough that I asked my orthopedist about them and she said that while they are not well understood, it is believed that some combination of dehydration and poor electrolyte consumption and absorption seem to be at play. With this is mind, I started drinking more than I normally would while exercising and after, and adding these Nuun tablets to the water. I tend to use 1/2 tablet for 16 oz of water. The cramps have stopped. I just came back from about 7 days of hiking in the high desert and had ZERO leg cramps. I had one breakthrough day (at home -- just going to Zumba class) but it was a 100-degree day in Boston and I wasnt being as careful about hydration as I had been while hiking. I took my orthopedists final recommendation and drank some tonic water (she said the quinine seems to aid in allowing the electrolytes to pass into the bodys cells) and that immediately put a halt to the mild cramps Id just experienced, and I had a good nights sleep. I dont care for the way these taste, but I care even less for the cramping and I will gladly use this product for the rest of my exercising days.
