WOW! This is one of the best things I have bought in the last few years. This size is overkill for the 20x15ft room I have used this in. But I will be using this in larger rooms and letting others try this out. I am kicking myself for not buying one sooner! For the last two days I have run this ozone machine in a small 20x15ft room for 2 hours each day. It got rid of all background odors. This room has no mold. This unit imparted a nice sweet ozone smell to the room. Now I plan to run this 60 minutes in this room, running it every other day or twice a week. Just for the fresh clean feeling it gives this room. Running this for two hours... I swear the rooms air looked a bit cloudy. Perhaps from the ozone neutralizing/reacting with some harmful stuff in the room. Baddies hidden in curtains, the beds, the sheets and covers and the clothing closet that I left the door wide open. After shutting this off and letting in fresh air via a window fan, the room had a pleasant and sweet, faint ozone smell for 6 hours. The residual ozone was not at any harmful levels. CONCLUSION: This powerful ozone generator is not just for moldy rooms. This high yield ozone machine is great for freshening up a room.

Emits an incredible amount of ozone! You really need to take their advice and not run it in rooms with people or pets. After just a couple minutes exposure I could feel the effect on my lungs...be careful! The unit did a great job removing odors from a car, and Im now testing it in our basement. I purchased it primarily to keep our mountain retreat smelling fresh rather than musty. I havent had a chance to get it up there yet. I did disconnect the internal timer as another customer suggested, and have the unit plugged in to a digital timer with built-in backup battery. Weve tried other units that look like furniture with beautifully finished wood cabinets. They put out a much lower amount of ozone, pretty much requiring them to be run constantly. They also tend to fail after about a year. This unit replaces one of them, and though not as attractive were hoping to get better performance and life out of this unit. Ill update this review if we run into any problems...

Im impressed, well i guess the science behind ozone works almost too well. You could instantly smell the bleachy ozone when turned on. Bought the 9000mg unit .Although its not stating that this unit produces 9000mg/hour of ozone anywhere in the package yet without any means of measuring it, I have no idea how much ozone this compact (yes, its smaller than I imagined)machine actually produces. But the good thing is it certainly produces enough to get the job done. Used it a few times in the kitchen to eliminate the cooking oder 10-15 minutes max is all you need to get rid of the cooking oder in my case. Just make sure you go nowhere near the unit when its running and vent the place after treatment for at least 30 minutes before entering since the ozone is not a pleasant smell gas and is definitely not healthy at all for animals and human. The timer is a must for this type of equipment and this particular one can only be described as a at least it has one. Its working at the moment but seems like the timer may be broken fairly quickly and not satisfying at all to use it. Note that the warranty booklet came with the unit clearly states 6 years insteed of 1 year in the amazon description. Stay tuned, I will update the review if anything came up :) hope not I really like it.

Our family has lots of pets, so we wanted something we could use to keep the house fresh-smelling even in colder weather, when we cant just leave some windows open all day. We read lots of reviews, and this seemed like the best. But still, you never know till you actually try it. We moved the pets out of the rooms we wanted to treat, and turned this on (we tried just an hour) then aired out the rooms. Now theyre awesome, clean and bright-smelling like the fresh scent after a spring rain. One piece of advice if youre a small woman like I am -- you really have to push the cord into the unit HARD. It will click when its all the way in, and then the red light will turn on. The instructions didnt mention this. I couldnt get it to work at first, but it was only because I wasnt pushing in the connection hard enough.

I used this to supplement a detail job on my vehicle after a clogged sunroof drain led to some water damage and a suuuuuuuper unpleasant mildew smell in my vehicle’s headliner. What I did: I found that using the machine for an hour, with all windows closed and the car off, got the complete results. I ran an extension cord into the car and blocked off the sliver of open window with towels. After an hour, I pulled the machine out and left my car closed up overnight. Previously I had aired it out immediately. After this experiment, the smell is completely gone and there’s no continued evidence of mildew. I have also used this on family members’ cars to eliminate smoke, pet, and food smells with great success. It was absolutely worth every dollar I spent on it since i did not need a full professional detail for my car interior after the initial headliner cleaning.

This worked wonders! My mother-in-law has a cabin, but the people who lived in it smoked inside the cabin for years. Now she has taken the cabin back and wants to use it as her second home. We used this and it has helped clear out that stench!! It is amazing what that little machine could do!!

This is an amazing machine. heres my story: We inadvertently brought into the house some cardboard boxes that had been in storage a long time. It turns out they were infested with black mold. My son who unpacked the boxes had a grand mall seizure. We didnt connected it to the boxes until a week later when the family dog started having seizures also. So bad stuff. By now the house smelled like a hamster cage. We tossed the boxes and aired out the house and the smell was reduced, but even after two weeks the dog still refused to enter the house. So i bought this machine, the 9000 mg unit. It is perfect for this application because the manufacturer says it will kill airborne mold and mold on surfaces, but not mold embedded in walls. Since we have no moisture issues this was just what we needed. The house is 2 story 2500 sf; we put the HVAC on continuous fan and located the unit on the main level near a return air duct. Ran it for the full 2 hours (house unoccupied). Just for good measure I ran in quickly with breath held after the 2 hours and set it for a second 2 hours. then let it dissipate for a couple more. I also put MERV 13 filters in the HVAC system to filter the dead mold spores. The house smelled a little like ozone and we aired it out, but bottom line the mold was eradicated. The dog returned to the house immediately and hasnt left. I also did the detached garage in a separate stint. Same results. There was also a smelly dog bed which I put in the garage with the ozone generator, and miraculously it came out smelling new.
