This movie is THE movie to watch for anybody who ever gets frustrated at work. At stupid bosses or needless paperwork or silly policies or stupid fax machines that break down all the time. You dont even have to work in a cubicle to enjoy the humor. You will laugh your head off anyway. This movie has become a cult classic. I cant beleive how many people at my job will quote scenes from the movie. I first saw Office Space on a pay channel a few years ago and I kept thinking about different parts of the movie long after I had seen it. Then recently I realized that I needed to buy it and add it to my collection because it is the kind of movie to watch over and over again. And if you have a particularly bad day at work, its fun to put in the DVD and play the ending credits that features a hip-hop version of Take this job and shove it. Then you can dance around the living room and I guarantee your bad work day will fade to just a distant memory.

People in my office love this movie and Im the only one that hasnt seen it, so I wanted to watch it. Maybe they built it up too much and I was expecting more, but I felt underwhelmed. It was okay for $3.99. I wouldnt watch it again. But glad I saw it.

The movie is somewhat dated but is entertaining and has a good storyline that keeps the movie on track. I especially like the assortment of characters in the movie, because without their uniqueness the movie would not be nearly as good.

Maybe its because I hate my job, but I think this is the most hysterical movie I have ever seen. I watch it when Ive had a bad day at the office and it cheers me up every time! Maybe because most companies are alike no matter what their business, I would really recommend this to anyone who can relate at all to work related stress, not just to people who work in cubicles in an office. After all, the rest of the workforce have jerks for bosses, companies that cant get their policies and procedures down, dont know how to communicate and think the morale in their staff is great when its really in the toilet! Additionally, I would recommend this to anyone who just likes a good comedy. I use clips from this movie in training courses I provide at work, about what NOT to do to your employees and I recommend this movie to all my friends and co-workers as therapy for when they are taking an Im sick of my job day off. I also love that now that its older the price is right and you can give it as a gift to work related friends. If you havent seen it, skip renting and just buy it, you will not be dissappointed.

I think this was, like for most Gen Xers, possibly my 8th or 9th viewing of this film (maybe once every few years?) Literally never gets old; in fact, it ages like a fine wine, because the more BS Ive seen/heard/lived from humans organizing themselves in work environments of any kind, the more unbelievably perfect this film is in almost every way, from the accurate depiction of boss idiocy to the ludicrousness of cubicle -based and/or chain restaurant employment. A true classic with some of the most spot-on casting of the 90s and the best thinly veiled skewering of TGIFridays (and the rest of their ilk) ever seen on film then or now. Oh, and a killer classic hip hop soundtrack that used to get referenced in my college media studies classes.

The first time I watched this, I was 18. It was funny then, even before it started resembling my real adult life. I have referenced this movie dozens of times since then. Should be part of high school curriculum, as hilariously accurate it is.

Odd mixture of a movie that isnt necessary great but has so many memorable scenes. Was well worth the money. If you work in an office please see.

How much we like a movie often depends on how closely we can relate it to our own lives or how far it allows us to escape from our own lives. Office Space is that rare movie that meets both these needs. Everyone who has worked in an office will relate to someone in the movie. This brilliantly low-key and low-budget film manages to mock life as a corporation myrmidon in America in just about every possible way. Have you been downsized? Youll love Office Space for its brilliant take on consultants. Have you lived in Dallas, Texas, the capital city of Generica? Youll love Office Space for its acerbic portrayal of life as an apartment rat. Have you been the pawn of intraoffice political power struggles? Youll love Office Space for the character Milton played by Stephen Root. The only people who wont love Office Space are those with IQs in the sub-100 range and corporate vice presidents. Sorry Lundbergh but I accidentally wiped my butt with the TPS reports.

There are two types of people in this world. People who like this movie. And people whose last name is “lumberg”
