Openoffice Apache is free !!!! Do not by it !

been using spreadsheets since Lotus 123; havent had one since MicroSoft went to a subscription format. this is like the Excell programs with all the features I need for a good price. havent needed any tech support yet so cant rate that.

Didnt have word and couldnt use it.

Was looking for a CD, but flash drive is still ok. Hope to be able to find it when needing to download again.

UPDATE ON THE UPDATE: Returned the new HP laptop after 3 days of bugs, and got a iPad Pro 2.9”, and this program will not work, despite their web site showing what appears to be iPads using their software. So the program is now a white elephant! OOPS! UPDATE: Recd yesterday, installed today, and already have a update notification! They want all your personal contact info for the update! And, the WORD page centering or layout feature is GONE! All I really wanted i WORD, and had to rent MS360 for $99/yr! No way! For me to install, I used the QR code on the included card and had no problem setting this up. Aye, if I, at 82 cand do this, so can you! I do cautiously recommend this program, if you dont mind the personal intrusion, which I do. Mike

I purchased this hoping I would be able to write my resume and 2023 budget without spending a lot on the standard Windows. It was a waste of time and money. I plugged in the port and expected it to be auto load but it was not. Then after following the instructions, it simply would not load, just keep going in circles with the same instrucitons. Do not bother. Look for something else.

Thought I was going to have to redo everything changing to a new computer. My Excel files transferred flawlessly to the Office Suite.

Words well, still getting use to but love this new alternative to Microsoft especially since it is a one time purchase and it is mine. I am a graduate student so need word and presentation and this has it good. The setup is a bit confusing there were no instructions but I think it is okay.
