I purchased this backpack just as my old faithful Nike bag was wearing out, so I needed one in a pinch. I have to say, I got a great deal on the bag, as it was $20-$30 less than other models I had been looking into. I liked the styling, so it was an easy choice. Once it arrived, I filled it up with some items I normally carry around: My 14 laptop, a leather legal portfolio, and a couple of large hardcover manuals. The fit in the main compartment was pretty perfect. The two mesh pouches were a bit wimpy, but I could still fit my Anker 1000 battery and a phone charger in there. My Kindle Fire went in the zippered tablet pocket with plenty of room to spare, but I really had to work to fit my laptop power cable and my many pens in the bottom compartment. The two side compartments held my water bottle and travel mug snugly. Havent had any slippage issues. But all of this is for naught if I cant carry it well. The straps are very narrow and basic, which is likely due to the price point. They cut into my shoulders a bit, and as a slightly bigger guy, (Im 511, 230 lbs) It situates itself awkwardly on my back. Looks kinda goofy too. Its not so bad that I find myself complaining about it constantly, or needing to get a better bag, but its enough that every time I see those doofy little straps, I get kinda bummed out. But its really nice-looking, durable, well-built, (except for the straps) and affordable. If youre a student or smaller person, you should jump on this.

Searched far and wide for a great backpack that would protect my laptop, had places for a thermos and bike lock, and wouldnt tear up my clothes (the back of my shirts and sweaters would pill from cordura thats on the back of most backpacks). The laptop sleeve is awesome because it doesnt go all the way to the bottom of the bag, so when you put the bag on the floor, the laptop (13in MacBook Pro) doesnt touch the ground. This backpack is super comfortable, functional, light, and works well for holding my ulock and thermos. It also looks great. Was worried it would be too big and cause issues with blocking vision on bike - Im a 54 female and between a small and average build - Ive had no problems. I also like that it clips instead of zips. Makes it easier to open/close. Only had for a little while, but seems like it will hold up. Id recommend - seriously great bag.

I dig this. Wanted something useful and stylish but not too trendy. Thought about buying one of those Herschel bags but theyre too expensive and a litle show-offy I think. Was worried I wouldnt find something I like, but saw this and jumped at it. The style here comes from the cool shape and structure; the color gives it a grown-upness I like and $50 is a perfect pricepoint. Im a high school teacher and I dont want to spend tons of money but nor do I want to seem like a fuddy-daddy. Its just about perfect except I agree with the one poster that it could use one more small compartment or pocket somewhere inside. Im happy with it and would def buy it again, and if they make that change itd be 5 stars without question.

This backpack is my favorite due to its durability and overall design. I bought the same exact one twice to replace my older one which eventually wore down over several years, but Im happy to say the quality hasnt changed at all.

I spent a very long time looking for a stylish slim backpack that would fit my 15.6 laptop. (It does) I was very disappointed to find out, however, that the strap placement and their straight shape makes it so that the inside of my upper arm brushes against the strap as I walk, producing a constant annoying sound. By the time I got to work my arm was already a little raw. It also does nothing to keep your back cool. In fact it does quite the opposite. Today it was 72 degrees with moderate humidity but my back was very hot and I was starting to sweat after a 10 minute walk. I had to carry it on one shoulder the last leg of the journey to deal with the multitude of discomforts. To sum up: This backpack looks fantastic, but it does not perform well at all. All form, no function. Sadly, I will be returning it promptly.

The dog ate my backpack ... again ... but I just keep buying the same one because it’s so darn awesome. Now if they could just make it dog proof

Such a great bag but this one has a smaller capacity than it appeared

I love Ogio bags, I have owned several over the years, and this is no exception. It is durable and very well made, and seems to always consider safely transporting electronics. Their other backpack the Commuter looks to be a far superior bag than this, but for some reason, even though it is larger than this Ruck 20, can only carry a 15 laptop. I would have preferred that bag but had to settle for this one due to that fact. Note that I am not disappointed in the slightest. This bad boy here can lug around my 17+ HP Pavillion g7 with ease. The bag tends to keep a rectangular shape, especially with the laptop present, which is great for packing and organizing the bag for every day use. This is also great for weekend camping trips, light travel, and certainly day to day use. If you dont need to take a laptop, then the laptop pouch is perfect for folders and books. It looks great, too! I received several compliments on it the first week I had it as it doesnt quite look like a regular backpack. The inside is BRIGHT freaking red, which is a great contrast to the grey model I purchased. I had always been a messenger bag guy since after high school, but wanted something to promote more mobility when moving about, and this was a great choice.

Perfect size that makes carrying a breeze with a more formal look than the usual sloppy backpack. Now, I just have to limit my packing.
