OHMAX Smart Plugs That Work with Alexa, Google Home, and Smart Life Apps (4 Pack)

These are easier to connect than the last I used. They connected to Alexa almost immediately

I was able to add these plugs in EZ mode using Smart Life without any problems. I didnt even have to break my mesh network into separate SSIDs to ensure it negotiated for the 2.4ghz connection. That feat shouldnt be amazing but over the past year this is the third set of supposedly standards compliant smart plugs Ive worked with and these actually connected and didnt waste my time downloading and learning a new app, troubleshooting through all the hoops to troubleshoot, breaking my mesh network, and generally being inconvenienced only to find they still wont connect. These gosund smart plugs just worked. Outstanding! The flat top, though initially a space consuming drawback, is also nice as I can rest my phone on top while it pairs with my wifi and smart home environment. Thank you gosund!

Ive used all sorts off smart plugs, these were a deal and I bought them to use for various things such as laptops etc... 1st off, i cant get it to link up to alexa, the app is garbage and it is spamming me with all sorts of ADs such as deals on products. I want to throw these out, they are useless. I had them for over 30 days but decided to write about them since its been annoying me, to let people know that these arent good. TP-Link and etekcity were some of my favorite ones that I didnt have any problems with. Stay away from GOSUND it bad hardware.

Easy to setup and almost instant connection and integration with Alexa. Nice products.

I had to return it, as it didn’t work at all, maybe because it isn’t 5g compatible.

Mine are branded Gosund (which is ok, I have a bunch of other Gosund branded ones - so, seems like they should be solid as those). Alexa integration is easy with Smartlife. Only thing to point out is that these are NOT compatible with the SmartLife integration with Samsung Smartthings. While SmartThings can integrate with SmartLife; only certain devices have something that allows SmartThings to see them. These dont have that. Seller doesnt advertise otherwise, but I find it helpful to point out for other buyers, since this isnt something thats always specified. (Ive found some devices that DO work with SmartThings/SmartLife, and werent advertised as such).

bought these casue they said smart home.. but these are gosund app devices. i did have the gosund app on my phone but like the smart home app better. i had no problem programming them and having them hooked up to Alexa. i would buy them again.

Works well with the Alexa app. Easy set up. Good range as I have them working with outside lights quite a distance from my house. Thank you.

Advertised power has monitor and works with Alexa. All my apps are current versions and operating system current. Does not work with Alexa and will not link. Does not have power monitor. Got linked to Google Home and has no power meter there. No power monitoring in Gosund app. At best, turns on and off devices. That is it.

I wanted to have outlets the turn on and off based on some complex conditions. I like the Smart Life app so the ability to use these with the Smart Life app was one reason I chose them. I was also able to use these with IFTTT, and I found that creating Smart Life Scenes and controlling and combining them through IFTTT applets provided the complex control I was looking for. But if you just want to have them turn on and off at certain times that works great, too! The other reason I chose these was because other people said they recover well after a loss of power or Internet connectivity. As it happens I had to take my Internet down for maintenance recently and the outlets did recover without any need for me to reset them or do anything. I have found these outlets flexible and reliable, and I am completely satisfied with them.
