These are the best scissors ever! They will last forever, and cut through virtually anything, and yes, they are comfortable. There are two sizes, make sure you get the big ones. Ive had several pairs of these scissors over the years. They dont wear out, my wife steals them from my desk and then loses them. She has 24 pairs of craft scissors at her desk, of every shape and size. But when she wants to actually cut something, she will get up from her craft area, walk upstairs to the kitchen, make food, put it on the kitchen table, walk downstairs, tell me shes made a snack and its upstairs, wait for me to get up to go see, and then take my scissors. And never return them. She doesnt even look at those crappy things she has.

Sharp and sturdy. Good leverage to make cutting thicker materials safely. For example, I had to cut open a bottle of gel caps that were stuck in the bottom of the bottle.

Just heavy duty enough to do most chores, and its the perfect size for many utility uses. Its not perfect at any one thing, but quite possibly the best do it all utility shears weve ever owned.
