Omnigrid Wooden Ruler Rack, Regular,Brown

These wooden ruler racks are just wonderful. This is the third one I have purchased to hold the multitude of rulers I have accumulated as a quilter and bag maker. These racks allow arrangement of various rulers in an orderly fashion. Yes, the racks do take up surface space. In spite of that I like the ability to see at a quick glance which ruler is where. The slots are big enough to hold one ruler depth wise, long enough to hold several rulers of different sizes, with the 24 long rulers fitting with a few inches sticking out on each end. The racks are well made of a hardwood, stained and finished. No splinters, nicks in the wood, actually no problems at all. I think if you have the surface space this is the best way and most convenient way to store your rulers. It organizes them and allows you to see which one you need with a quick glance, and avoids the need to open and close a ring if you are using a ring to hang your rulers.

I am very pleased with this unit to store my quilting rulers.........its MY fault I have more than it can hold!

Great quality! Sturdy hardwood with nonslip feet on bottom. Long enough for several rulers wide. Will buy again!

This item does get the various sized rulers and block rulers up and where they are easy to find. I would suggest that the vender widens (at least 4 inches wide and another 3 inches longer) for their next generation of holder. Most of us quilters have more rulers and shape rulers than fit on this size. And yes I understand about the widths of wood, but 4 inches wide is one of those standard widths on wood. No I will not purchase another because they are pricey for what they are in my opinion and the number of rulers I dont have room to get them all up and in sight at once.

This is great to keep different size rulers handy when working on a project that you prefer to switch sizes often. So once you get in the habit to return rulers to the rack, you are happy to not to be continually looking for you ruler.

Rulers stand up well, making it easy to ick the one you are looking to use.

Wife was so happy to get this as a gift. Its so beautiful and well made. Definitely appears to be real wood. Its got some nice rubber type feet at the bottom too. Shes happy!

Easily organizes and holds my small collection of rules so they dont take up much space on my desk

I was using one of those desktop file folder divider things for storing my rulers, and considered the purchase of this special rack a real indulgence, but now that I have it, I am so glad I got it. Its so easy to see all my rulers, they stand up well in their own little slots. Love it! And for the people who are wondering why a little blue hook is included, my guess is, its so the rack can be displayed in a brick and mortar quilt shop. The hook swivels up inside the plastic wrapper, perfect for hanging on a display rack. But the hook seems to have no purpose once you get it home; there are no holes for hanging on the wall. The rack sits on a flat surface.
