Wasnt a very good movie ... watched only cause it was Disney

This is worth the watch. I was feeling really down and depressed one night but this movie is fantastic, whimsical, mysterious, adventurous, and the action gets really good at the end. It is also a tear-jerker! Very relatable. The conflicts between the characters are so real it makes me uncomfortable in the best way. The duo breaks up over a misunderstanding trope is there, as are many other tropes, but its done SO WELL that its believable.

Great family movie! Free on Disney plus the day after we purchased it.

I so wanted to like this movie, since it has so many fantasy elements that I like and reminds me a bit of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings with its themes, but it was so dull and really had nothing unique to make it memorable or worth watching more than once. The characters all seemed so stereotypical and too cliched to bring anything new to the movie, and the story itself was nothing remarkable and wavered between rushed/chaotic or otherwise plodding along with hardly anything happening to add value to the plot. I am glad I only rented it, but even the $5 rental price I paid felt like a waste. The trailers for it honestly made it look much better than it is. The ending also made the whole movie a downer and lacking in a point. In my opinion, the look of the animation is the best thing about it.

Got to watch it with the family during Movie Night we all enjoyed it very much.

I bought this for my Children during COVID and it has been a hit. They all love watching is (Ages 11, 6, 4 & 2)

A very cute movie :) I didn’t expect the ending but it was so sweet yet sad
