Oral-B Glide Floss Picks-30 count (Pack of 6)

My dentist used to complain that I was popping my floss when I was inserting it between my teeth. This is because my teeth are very close together, and inserting regular floss was difficult at best. The popping of the former floss would cause gum irritation that is eliminated with the Glide. Sometimes, with regular floss, it would actually break or shred! No so with the Glide line of floss. This stuff makes flossing so much easier for me. I like the pick style, as I have large hands that make wrapping regular floss around my fingers uncomfortable and unwieldy. I also like that you can tighten the string by pinching the handle, so you can control the tension before and after inserting between the teeth. This helps to conform to the shape of the tooth. There is an actual flat toothpick on the opposite end. Ive never been a person that uses toothpicks (wooden, or otherwise), so I cant really advise on its usefulness.

Im a huge fan of these floss picks I use them every day. Prior to tonight I would have given them 4 stars. So thats what I went with but I wont be using them again. The good: I think they are sturdy and most of the time they dont shred like other floss. My only complaint is that the last three packages, from two different orders, I opened all have a strange smell and flavor. They come six to an order in a large plastic bag and I opened them all. They all have the smell. So I think its deliberate. Its a sweet and flowery scent like vanilla. Like on a scented candle. The smell is definitely on the floss and not the outside of the package. However, the packaging doesnt say its flavored at all and the picks havent been flavored in the past. Whatever the flavor/smell is I cant stand it. It makes me nauseous. They look fine but Im not sure they are safe to use either. Im going to have to throw them away. Which is unfortunate because these floss picks are kind of expensive.

I think these are the best flossing piks out there! I have always struggled with my gums so I am an extremely dedicated flosser and brusher. Since discovering and switching to these piks years ago I have been getting rave reviews from my dentist regarding my gum health. Try these.

So I have never flossed in my life before getting these. I have tried many times and it was too difficult. I don’t have the straightest teeth, and I can’t open my mouth that wide. This has caused the expected feedback from the dentist, “You need to floss”, “You’re gonna lose all your teeth if you don’t floss”.. So last year we got the water pick and and it helped out but it didn’t change the overall feedback from the dentist. I finally decided that I needed to give in to flossing. Tried the string around the fingers and I instantly said, that’s not gonna happen. Found these and I have to say, flossing has never been easier. It takes me about a minute to floss all my teeth, I have tried floss sticks before but they were all parallel handles which makes absolutely no sense because you have to put it completely in your mouth sideways to get to the back teeth. This floss being perpendicular to the handle makes it extremely easy to get to the back teeth. I floss every day now. Looking forward to my next dentist visit :)

I dont over-enthuse easily but the Glide must be the best in its class. And this is why: - Excellent grip - the ribbed sides make it easy to hold, usually with the thumb and index. - You can actually control the floss tension. The harder you squeeze the sides the tighter the floss gets. - Super-resistant floss - it never broke on me. - Shape makes it easy to reach anywhere in the mouth. I guess I can call myself a reluctant flosser. Or, rather I was that way until not so long ago. Ever since I started to use Glide Ive been flossing every night because the Glide makes it easy, quick and painless. Even better, the kids too seem to be a lot more likely to floss with the Glide. This is a good product and it just became the official and exclusive floss pick in our household having used it for the past 2 years.

These are by far the best. Easy and effective glide by past teeth.

Easy to use, especially reaching the back teeth. Fits great in closely space teeth without shredding and popping. Highly recommended.
