I like the texture of this stuff, as it creates a kind of latex layer around the inside. That can help the sealant do its thing. On the down side, I live in a hot and humid climate. I find that I need to check on the condition of the sealant every three weeks. It can separate and dry up in a summer month.

Was looking to go tubeless, Picked up some of this because it was recommended . And so far Im liking it .

This stuff is the best. And, when it dries, it dries weightless and peels out like snakeskin. Super easy to clean up. Since it dries weightless, and hold the seals up perfectly, I top off my tires with 2oz each season and dont have to worry about anything until I need new tires. Use with DT Swiss or Mac-Off Rim Tape.

I ended up having Stans in my front tires on both my road bike and MTB, and Orange Seal in the rear tires. (Dont ask, long story...) Ive always read that you should never mix the 2 products. Being a skeptic, I decided to test that claim. I had a little bit of Stans left in a pint bottle, about 0.5 oz. I poured it into a small glass jar, then added 0.5 oz of Orange Seal to it. I gave it some mild agitation by shaking, basically to simulate the mixing youd get as you ride. The 50/50 mix blended perfectly - no emulsion, separation, settling - just a perfectly miscible blend of the 2 fluids. Id have no problem feeling comfortable to use that resulting 1 oz next time I top off a tire.

This product is flawless. It works like charm, i ran over a cactus going down hill and tires held and sealed right back up. This sealant also works for a long time so ur not buying a new one over and over. This sealant only down side is if you don’t ride often like 1-2 a month it drys up and doesn’t give you the protection I usually would.

I am a nail magnet. I on every ride get a flat. My life was miserable and I cursed those bicycle designers. Then came my new tubeless ready bicycle. I, a novice. Put a tape on the rim. Installed Valve. Added this Orange stuff and pumped. The tire I added this on already had well over 20 punctures. I fully expected it to spray orange goo all over the die. I just couldnt believe watery orange water with black fine powder in it can seal my punctures. Jesus Martinez.. 3 wooze a little bit of orange goo and it stopped. Pumped the bike to 50 psi and it held. Holy guacamole. I went through the bushes and riverbeds and pulled out dozen goathead. Air leaked when goathead was popped out but quick spin on the tire sealed it. Not even a whole turn, half turn and it stopped leaking air. After 3 months or so I am finding out that it may not be sealing it permanently. Tire continuously leaks air a bit. It loses 5 psi in a week of being idle.. maybe 5 psi a month.. it depends. So I check and pump at least every week or before I go out. But that is only maintenance it takes. I now have utter confidence that Orange will hold air. I made a 70 trip and I did not worry about a puncture. My bike is a gravel bike and I carelessly jump in to gravel trail whenever I see them. I dont believe I will have to carry my bike 11 miles again because it had a goathead. I am baptized and born again.

I’ve used orange seal for years. It has been dependable and consistent. It works well for keeping my tires inflated and rolling. It is water based so easy to use and clean up.

Creates a nice seal without turning into a huge rubber ball inside the tire.
