Fits as it should

I have my Old Oreck Upright Vacuum I’ve owned for at least 25 years. So through the years I’ve replaced many belts. They are relatively easy to install and last as you would expect. Less time for me and my daughters and granddaughters because we have very long hair.

It fit my vacuum with no major problems.

We were having a problem with our Oreck XL throwing the belt. Now that the vac is coming up on 15 years I figured that the mounts for the motor and brush roller were a bit stretched and the reason for the frequent belt problem. It happened so often that everyone in the house including the dog could put the old belt back on in less than 5 minutes. The old belt came off every 3rd use. I purchased these two new belts and took a risk that they werent counterfeit parts. They may be but whatever the case the new belt is still on after over 30 uses. Im pretty happy about this.

My mom has had an Oreck XL for years because shes in her 80s and valued the light weight over the actual vacuuming. Not to say that Oreck is bad, but there are definitely more modern and powerful alternatives - they just weigh more. In any case, since she has an Oreck, it has a belt, which is this product. We have tried other less expensive or non-Oreck belts, and they wear out sooner than these. These dont immediately glaze on the inside where the pulley wears. Great product. This set has lasted over a year each of heavy use. The one to get!

Fixed the vacuum cleaner. Runs better than when it was new.
