I’ve been using this for my Christmas lights, and the user experience has been very pleasant. Easy instillation, and the HomeKit integration was seemless.

Anything that requires me to change my WiFi signal from 5ghz to 2.4ghz and disconnect my mesh system just to set up I consider a pain in the butt. I did all this and it still didn’t want to connect. All the other smart devices in my home connect with no problem. I have plenty of bandwidth and a 1 gig signal. Go with Lutron or something else. The set up is terrible

You HAVE to set this up on 2.4G wifi, if you phone is connected to 5 it will not work. I could not get it to work with Alexa, it does work well with Apple Homekit. You can even have the two outlets separate. It is only IP44, which is actually not that waterproof. I would not put these where it will get splashed.

After months of it working great it suddenly stopped working in the Home app. I had lost the QR code and tried using the company app. That still didn’t work since you need the code to connect the device to both Home App and the company app. I have read other reviews of similar issues that the device just stops working within a years time, so buyer beware in this item. No support from the company.

Poor shut up future for home Apple

It constantly loses connection. Moderately easy to set up, I love the idea, and the plus itself works if I go outside to turn it on or off — but that kind of defeats the purpose. It loses connection with my phone constantly and will not reconnect.

Worked for about a week and then disconnected from Apple Kit.

The instructions says “not to use on pool pumps “ but on my .5hp pool pump works great

These work just as well as Amazon smart plugs but actually work with HomeKit if you use an iPhone. Good price too.

Most people are running on a combination of 2.4 GHz wifi and 5.0 wifi. For me, mine router switches between the two channels depending on the device and traffic. This plug can only be set up on 2.4 GHz, so you may have to switch something over, or something off. After that is taken care of, just scan the QR code and the app does the rest. The two plugs can be controlled simultaneously, or separately.
