These plugs are always useful when there are children in the house and there is a concern for one of them sticking something into an outlet that could be very dangerous. However, the reason I bought these is to use with Christmas lights outdoors. With there being exposure to water outdoors, I use these to fill unused portions of the wiring, and then, I cover with electrical tape. In some cases, where there is no threat of rain or snow reaching the wiring much, I omit the tape. These are sturdy, durable and extend plenty over the outlet areas. Very good purchase.

They have one job to do, and they do it well. They arrived in the mail, and within about 5 minutes I used all 32. Popped them right in all my dangerous uncovered sockets, and BAM!: Children safe. They are just hard enough to get out as they are easy to get out if you use the right tools. Tools being maybe the prong of your electronic devices plug. Easy to remove, but not so easy for kids to remove. I doubt my kids will even notice they are there, because they are clear and cant be seen well from far away.

We needed these safety items for our receptacles when my 15 month old grandson visits. I tried purchasing in local stores, but none of the shops I visited carried the item. I was pleased to find them on Amazon at a great price.

They work just fine. Its a simple item. But next time (and I do need more) I will buy some opaque white ones that block out the view of the outlet holes. They look nicer and the baby wont actually see the holes through the transparent plug cover.

Bought these to somewhat protect my surge protectors from my elderly cat who had decided they were a great place to take a pee totally disproving the third rail concept.

Easy to install and easy to remove. Perfectly worked for me.

These havent got put to the test by our 10 month old yet, and hopefully never will but, I like that they are clear and discreet -- they dont draw attention to the outlets so little eyes arent attracted to them. They seem to come out pretty easy for an adult but like I said, I dont know if a child would be able to get them out or not.

I get paranoid with open outlets, so these helped my OCD tendencies. I saw other reviews about them being loose, but mine fit perfectly and take a little shimmy-ing to remove, which is for the best. Glad I have them on hand as needed!
