> 24 hourBought this thunderbolt drive with a little bit of sceptism but it turned out to be a amazing fast thunderbolt drive that works perfectly with my mac mini 2018 i7. I use it as a startup drive and for more storage space. It writes and reads at a very fast pase. When i went to send my files true the recovery method it took only an hour to send 940GB of programs and files i use for music. The only program i had to reinstall its library was Cubase pro 12. At relaunch Native kontakt i had to let it search for my libraries and thats it. Now its to see about the durability of this drive. Ill post an update if anything goes wrong.

> 24 hourSmall, easy, bus powered and oh-so-fast!! With a high quality Thunderbolt 3 or 4 cable and matching port (mine is a 2019 iMac) this drive offer superlative backup and copy of large media files like hundreds of GB of digital photos. Well done!

> 24 hourIt is amazingly fast, copy 100s of gigabytes in minutes instead of the old standard of hours. It is also very rugged and feels like a solid brick of metal. It is a bit larger in size than most USB-C portable drives these days and its twice as thick. That also leads to it being a hearty weight, but these are barely cons in a pro-con argument and the speed more than makes up for bulk and weight. It is made by OWC which has been a Mac-centeric business for more than 20 years delivering trustworthy devices and supporting them if issues arise.

> 24 hourIt works. It’s fast. But for the price the storage should be double the size.

> 24 hourWhen I needed a scratch disk I immediately looked for a solid state with thunderbolt connectivity - OWCs drive was the first one I reviewed and tbe first one I decided on. This drive is fast, quiet and does the work. Very happy
