OWC 2.0TB Aura Pro X2 NVMe Flash SSD Add-On Solution Compatible with Mac Mini (Late 2014), Including Tools & Installation Components

This is a great enhancement to my Mac Mini. Really helped to speed up the older unit and make it usable again.

I pains me to write this review as OWC has been my go-to for mac supplies over the past 20 years. I ordered the 1TB Aura Pro X3 SSD with tools and Installation components. Only the SSD was shipped to me. Ill amend this review if this situation can be resolved quickly.

slick install, fast drive!!

You won’t be disappointed. Faster speed than a SSD via the SATA connector and easier to install. Make sure once you transfer your data that you disable the original SATA connected drive or it will slow down the mini on boot up and randomly once booted up.

Very clear instructions made installation a breeze. The performance improvement over the basic hard drive was substantial.

Works great. It was easy to install. Phenomenal speed when compared to the regular drive that I still keep inside as a second drive. Very convenient that the tools were supplied.

Great upgrade for Mac mini 2014, going from slow (5400rpm / non fusion) HD to speedy NVMe. Admittedly, didn’t reinstall Mac OS. Switched to Ubuntu Linux. A speedy (relatively speaking) small workstation. Fantastic!

The install was easy enough, and the performance of my mac mini has increased greatly over the standard 1tb spinning platter disk. But the performance is not as described? But I am still happy with the performance with this upgrade.

Installation was easy and it vastly accelerated my mac mini.

It is working fine. Followed the built in instructions to imac mini. All OK so far. It could be cheaper, otherwise happy with my purchase.
